Fullmetal Alchemist -> Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (certain ranks and other plot points differed from the manga in the original anime) Dragonball Z -> Dragonball Z Kai (not really a reboot, just filler removed) Soul Eater -> veers off from the manga after the first few episodes, but I don't think it's been rebooted or will any time soon. Rurouni kenshin -> After the Kyoto arc, it goes off to do its own thing (season 3). The Kyoto arc was rebooted into a 2-part OVA, but it's pure crap. What they should have done instead (but didn't) is add the Enishi arc. Sailor Moon -> Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal There's probably others that I'm missing. I wonder if they will bring back the old cast for the new dub or they will just go with new actors? |

1. Your stream at the time 2. The Hulu stream compression 3. The master that was provided by Toei I'd say it's the latter, considering the sound in episode 2. |

Doubtful. There will probably be a set every two or three months. If it's every three months, that's four sets a year. I imagine there will be around 12 sets. That means three years and all of it will be released. At every two months it should all be available in two years.

Because nobody's going to buy a giant 30-disc set for several hundred dollars. CCS is only nine discs. Last edited by Thomas Guycott; 06-04-2014 at 04:36 AM. |

It's also only a third or fourth of what a complete Sailor Moon box set would cost.

Based on the trailer... the animation looks like a far cry from the original. I also noticed they decided to make all of them stick-thin which doesn't look right, IMO.
I'll still check it out, but I doubt this will be anywhere near as good as the original. I hope it's still a decent new series. I'm glad the original VA for Sailor Moon is returning. |

Character designs are similar to how they were in the original manga, which the show will also stick closer to. Takeuchi always had issues with how much the anime deviated from her source material.
