It's been over a decade since I saw Dawn of the Dead so it may be in need of a re-appraisal (I hated it at the time). Haven't seen his other films. As far as I'm concerned, he's directed two of the best superhero films ever made.

Does anyone know if The Last Photograph is going to escape development hell after his work on Justice League is done? I reaaaallllly hope that's his next project. Same thing goes for his Fountainhead movie.

Snyder's easily on my list of top ten currently living/working directors next to Todd Haynes, Paul Verhoeven, etc., etc.
