I wonder about his sister. Something seems odd about it, almost like she is his "monitor" or something and not really his sister. Probably me projecting.

Caught the first ep on Hulu over the weekend. I loved it. Striking visuals and intriguing story. The whole thing with the Devil with the Yellow Eyes reminded me a bit of Twin Peaks. Very creepy. Very interested in seeing where it all goes from here.

Just caught up. Boy, that last episode was creepy and disturbing.

But this show is amazing. I'm really, really loving it in every respect.

There's still a lot that needs to be pieced together, but I do feel the show is getting progressively linear when compared to the pilot.

I didn't know that there was a four-day delay for the episodes to show up on Hulu.. I'm sad now, lol.

Just watched the 4th episode on Hulu.

So....
[Show spoiler]no dog as a kid huh? Dog's name is King? Seems like they're pointing to it being the Shadow King

I'm having a difficult time with this show. The character seems to be vastly different from the character from the comics, and at the same time, so similar. The only way I'm able to reconcile the two is realizing that this is pretty much his origin story as told through a fragmented mind.

The character IS schizophrenic, it's just no one really seems to know that yet, and now David has doctors telling him that he isn't really, that it's just his power(s) emerging and him not knowing how to deal with that. I think by the end of the third episode Melanie and Ptonomy are starting to figure out that something isn't right.

Knowing, from the comics, how this slow exploration of the character ends up, is making me not want to watch the show at all, and it's the first time that's happened to me.

Still though, I want to see what they're going to do when they eventually have the character REALLY wake up and use even a fraction of his power as more than just a reflex.

Sometimes when you're looking too close at something, you miss the most obvious clues. My son pointed out the dog's name from the start.

But the shirt clues! So many things I didn't notice! SPOILER WARNING! DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO UNTIL AFTER YOU'VE SEEN EPISODE 5.

Been watching this, it's fantastic, even compared to the Marvel/Netflix shows, it's way more artistic. The Lynch and Kubrick inspiration is defiantly strong and helps the show stand out. One thing I love about the show is it's interest more in character, mental illness, and memory than action. If you remove the comic connections, this is just an expertly made sci-fi psychological thriller. Hawley proved himself with Fargo and is showing no signs of deteriorating with Legion. Also, the soundtrack is awesome.

Watched episode 6 last night. I know nothing about the comic books but this is one of the best first seasons I've seen for a while, I think even better than Westworld's. Only two more episodes to go eh?
