My friend hit up Walmart today and Titanic is $3.96 but there's no instawatch sticker on it.

If it doesn't have it I won't have her pick it up because otherwise the movie only has iTunes.

Anyone know about this? If it doesn't have instawatch sticker it won't work right?

EDIT: I told her not to get it, because since it didn't have the instawatch ticket I didn't want her to bother with it. And it's sold out online so I can't get it. :-(

I would encourage you to report the issue to both Walmart and Vudu. The more people report the better the chances of someone looking into it.

unfortunately they will just pass the blame leaving the customer high and dry - walmart will say its vudu and vudu will say it is walmart

Or they will just ignore you altogether and not respond at all. I would have been all over this program if it actually worked like it was supposed to. I would have paid a $1 or $2 more to Walmart to get an auto Vudu copy but with so many problems with movies not showing up and others coming in SD instead of HD it's probably best to just buy the cheapest version you can find be it Walmart, Best Buy, etc... since there's a fairly good chance you will have to use the code or d2d it anyway.

Bad news everyone. I had someone at walmart nice enough to slice off the UPC sticker and scan the true barcode of one of the INDIANA JONES movies in the store, and it came up as "ITEM NOT FOUND" in their system. I was told they haven't carried the movies in a long time and they were only available for the Black Friday event. Might be YMMV though.

What this essentially seems to mean is that the only way to get the JONES movies on your Vudu via IW is to buy them online at whatever price the website happens to have it up at.

I thought the individual copies of the Indiana Jones films have digital copies included inside (not InstaWatch). I picked one up just looking in store tonight and it said Digital Copy on the back, but looked like it might have just been iTunes.

All the Indiana Jones movies as well as Titanic are Itunes only so Instawatch is the only way to get them on Vudu without buying them outright from Vudu.

Neither come with UV. If you were able to order or buy from Walmart it's supposed to come with a Vudu copy via InstaWatch.

They at they very least would have to take the movie back as it's not as advertised. If I could buy it online I would and try contacting Vudu but I'm not going to Walmart.

So I clicked on Indy and its still sold out online but it now has the option to pick up in store. Of course it's not in any store near me. Soooooooo I'm still crap out of luck but maybe one of you guys can grab one. Laters.

Interesting. I've not seen any 3D Blu-Rays redeem for 3D UV titles through InstaWatch or by entering the code. I always just get the 2D title in my UV account.

The ones I know work (at least from online orders) because I tested them are:

I, Frankenstein 3D -- Gives 2D/3D
Judge Dredd 3D -- Gives 3D only (2D may also be given, but I already had the 2D so not sure)
Lego Movie 3D -- Gives 2D/3D

The ones I know that do not work are:

Edge of Tomorrow 3D -- Only gives 2D version
ParaNorman 3D -- Only gives 2D version
The Lorax 3D -- Only gives 2D version
The Legend of Hercules 3D -- Only gives 2D version

One's that did not work, but may work soon:

Gamer 3D -- May soon give Gamer 3D (Vudu is working on it)

Thanks for the info. I just ordered Dredd 3D for store pickup. I have it already but this is a cheap way to get the 3D copy on Vudu.
