This is awesome, but I swear the game better be a legit remake, and not some crappy action game like 15, and it better not feature the HORRIBLE characters added from the spin-offs. I want the game REMADE in glorious 1080, with the same combat and story that I remember.

I hope so. Hopefully they show something off... even if it is only a single battle so we can see what the system will be like.

I'll start by saying I LOVE FFVII and it's my #1 all time game. But I have to ask, how much did you love Advent Children and how do you feel about Final Fantasy 12-13-15? Because I have a feeling it's going to fall somewhere in there.

I have little hope that this will be the game we all grew up on and loved and that those same feelings will return with a remake. SE has not been putting out the FF of yesteryear, they have been solid but nothing amazing. That's why I always cringed when people cried for a remake. Yes it will be pretty but so was FFXIII and so is FFXV I think SE has lost much of the charm they used to put into games. I still love and enjoy every single Final Fantasy they put out but I think everyone is putting FFVII on to HIGH of a ledge.

I hope I'm wrong- I really do- but SE has not changed in years so we better hope for a great vision and direction for the remake.

I'm cautiously optimistic, but SE hasn't made anything worthwhile since FF-12. That's almost ten years. I'm not going to blindly love it just because.

If Yoshinori Kitase was directing it like he did the original, FFVIII and help direct FFX-- I would not be worried at all. Kingdom Hearts and Advent Children is cool and all but I think FFVII might have needed someone else- so to me it's going to Advent Children played out within a full game. :/
