Bought Sunday on Amazon and had it expedited. Delivered and watched today.

Deep Rising - 3.5/5

The only reason I bought it. Don't know if I'll ever watch The Puppet Masters, but hey I guess I'll have to make time to since it comes with it. One reviewer put it that Deep Rising is really the sole reason anyone would buy this double feature Blu and that The Puppet Masters should just be considered an unwanted bonus feature. I'm quite surprised and rather glad that Mill Creek included Deep Rising's theatrical trailer. I would like to see a standalone release of Deep Rising with a maybe a little retrospective documentary or heck even a commentary with Stephen Sommers and some of the cast that would just give a little rundown of the making of the film and its current increasingly passionate cult following. Wishful thinking most likely I know. Oh well. The movie does look good. And sound good too. At least it certainly did in my Rocketfish wireless headphones.
