It's directed by Clint Eastwood. That makes it worth a blind buy right there. Great pacing. Suspenseful. Solid acting. Superb film.

It's hard for me to say this because I like Eastwood, Cooper and Kyle but American Sniper is barely watchable. Cooper and Miller save it from being an almost outright Lifetime movie as far as the non-war drama aspect. Maybe it will benefit from a second viewing, don't know.

Back on topic. I saw five Gambler steels on my lunch break. I get the feeling these will be around a while like the Lucy steels were. As far as the movie, is it any good? The reviews I saw were very middling.

I'm in Ashburn. I got tired of the hit or miss stuff here. Popular movies would be in stock, unpopular movies would be out of stock. And, vice versa

Just been buying online recently. I hate walking into a Target anyway, especially with the low shipping minimums. I don't buy anything other than Steelbooks and Dog stuff there anyway.

The Gambler showed up mint today.

Hoping American Sniper is the same way.

WOW... Online it said Ashburn was out of stock this morning.

I really miss the Target next to Manassas Mall. It was so much easier to get stuff from.

So you're commuting from Gainesville on 66. I don't envy you. Did some of the photography work on the bank across from the Sheetz before you got to the train tracks on 15.

There is an excellent Mexican restaurant pretty close to that, can't remember the name.

I was driving into Arlington from here 4 days a week. Finally found a decent job and my commute is 5 minutes.

Yeah it's not too bad since they built that over pass over the tracks, but it can get clogged up pretty good coming off from 66.

I called in this afternoon...and they still are reporting that they did not get any... what the heck??!?!

Yeah, pretty much any Target in the MD/DC/VA metro area didn't get these. Don't know why...

Maybe it has something to do with what's going on in Baltimore?

I went to two locations and they didn't even have the regular blu

Edit: Now it shows that Potomac Mills is available for pickup....just a little outta the way

Why would the Baltimore mess have anything to do with BR/Steelbooks not arriving at target stores but the DVD and anything else not the Gambler arriving on time?

Never got a call from Gainesville, VA. At this point as I read the movie was so so, it's no big deal if I miss out on it. They better not pull this shit with the avengers age of ultron steelbook if it comes to target or I will be really pissed.

Still five of these left at my local Target and about six at the other one I went to today. Not a popular release by any means. Still didn't get around to watching yet.

Watched this last night, wasn't blown away but didn't hate it. Thought the pacing/music was a little odd, but it grew on me as the film went on. I'm a big fan of Wahlberg! IMO, the guy has come a long way. In some parts of this film it seems like he was channeling his Dirk Diggler character. I must say the extras were pretty good. I'm glad they spoke about the original film, as I would really like to see that.
As for the steelbook...kind of like the movie! Not great, not bad, just kind of middle of the road. Odd thing with my steelbook, when open I can't lay it flat. It seems like the rear "hinge" won't open fully. Not a big deal, but I've never seen that in a steelbook before.

I finally got a chance to sit down and watch this. I take back what I said earlier: This dethrones Cowboys and Aliens as the worst film in the Terrget steelberk lineup. Awesome performances. Stupid story. Just...stupid. I almost turned it off thrice but ultimately stuck through it.

So glad this cost me nothing but a mere 6,250 kicks from Shopkick. I'll never watch it again.

Mine does the same thing. I think my WM Hercules steel does it as well. Kinda weird when it's open but doesn't seem to affect it otherwise.

Guys, this is currently $7.99 at Target. Just picked it up yesterday, it's a blind buy for me.
