i don't know about your guys dollar general stores but i asked lady yesterday when they get new blurays in
and she said sometimes saturday afternoons but not always

Im sure each store is different. These also might come direct from movies you buy or other distributors via UPS. You never know.

I stopped in today, and nothing new whatsoever, so this may vary on a store-by-store basis.

Grabbed these today from a DG off of the beaten path:

None of these showed up at any of the stores near me. These were at a store about 15 miles from my house.

Edit: I did find and pick up Straw Dogs at one of my local stores on Saturday, but that was the only store I saw it at.

Man...I really wish my DG would get some of these titles in haha.
They never get anything anymore. I mean literally, nothing.

I picked up the Mad Max Blu-ray/DVD edition that Fox released at the DG in Mt Holly Springs, PA. Saw the MGM 3-Movie sets, except the Robocop trilogy, and the original Straw Dogs, among others.

FINALLY...I found The Man With No Name trilogy at one of my local DG's.

Only one other store had some of the other new titles popping up, Pink Panther, Sid & Nancy.

No sightings of the other titles such as 12 Rounds, All The Right Moves, etc here in the Davenport, IA area.

Dick Tracy is the one I really wanted.

Yeah, same here

I've been to about 7 Dollar Generals just in my town and no luck on Titanic... but yet I've seen 2 Pink Panthers (original) and even a Dick Tracy set. Anyone open for a trade for Titanic? Thanks.

Well, it was a bust on all fronts at my two closest DGs...

They seem to be about 2-3 weeks behind what's reported here.

Only one of interest that I saw was two Miramax releases bundled together: Supercop/Twin Dragons & a six fast action pack with eXistenZ and several others. It looks like Supercop is cropped and the 6 movie set is predictably bitrate starved with some lossy stereo soundtracks, but I think it's a decent enough deal to get eight movies for only five bucks.

I got Titanic for $6 at Half Price Books. Both black and white movies are better than James Cameron's bloated mess.

well i just blind bought movie i hope i'm going to like it also got species and all the right movies never saw those before think maybe species not so sure

It'd be interesting to watch A Night to Remember, Titanic (1953), and Titanic (1997) back-to-back.
