so yes it perfectly normal...
Zavvi seem to ship whenever stock arrives in their warehouse, and they seem relaxed about release dates, so you can get some orders the week before, but other late or never. It's the gamble you take with Zavvi.

Amazon now for most of the country try and deliver on the Sunday to domestic addresses if they have stock in time with paid for delivery and Prime, but deliveries to office addresses are held back for delivery on Monday.

I ordered from Zavvi and also Amazon USA (£30 cheaper when converted ), but I cancelled both orders yesterday. Cannot justify paying £100 or more for the tins at the moment. Seeing has they are not limited, and available worldwide, I’ll look at picking them up down the line when on offer, probably from Amazon USA as they tend to be much cheaper inc customs and shipping to UK

just did the same.

i got them on pre-order at a good price from Xtra-vision @£16.99 per steel but im going to wait till Zavvi / Amazon has a blow out sale.

ive already got the box-set so no rush to add these to my steel-book collection

Same. Hoping that Black Friday or Cyber Monday might result in a massive price drop, especially if they don't sell as quickly as the retailers must think they will with that price.

Cancelled mine a while ago. Have the boxset already, that will do me until they do something for all nine movies after Episode IX's released!

I just received these today. I really like them, a very nice touch with the debossing on the titles.

I'll definitely have to pick up the prequels now.

The UK pricing for these... well, "It's outrageous!", to quote Sio Bibble.

They will do another box set with all nine films unless they make more

The plan to keep them coming could very well cause the undoing of the whole franchise. All it will take is a couple of duds at the box office, and downhill from there. And, if they keep hiring random directors, especially ones with no business helming a Star Wars film, this could very well happen. Over time of course.

Zavvi are now selling these for £16.99 + FLASH12 gets 12% off.
