Well I put the first blu in a Region A Blu-ray player and it played. I put the DVD in my PS3. Seems fine as well.

Arrow has stated that their multi-country releases would contain NTSC DVDs, so that part at least is not a misprint.

Target has this for $94.89 and has a 10% off code (LIST) just for today (11/22), brings down to $85.40 (free shipping, tax mostly cancelled by RED Card savings if you have one). Not sure that will hold up as a great price down the road, but will have at least 30 days to return (might be 90 for holidays?); seems like a competitive release day price:

I logged into my e-mail, & got a e-mai saying the Amazon U.S. price was down to $94.89. I was going to post the info, when I saw your post Arlington. Nice find. Order came out to $92.98, no REDcard. My Zavvi order would of been around $97.

Good deal. Got my order in for $86.20 total. Another Arrow release I'll be canceling at Amazon due to finding a lower price.

Yeah. 10% off with code LIST, 5% with red card, and $5 off with the other code. Total discount was $18.51.

Love these special edition releases from Arrow. Though the SCR case was not to my liking.

The Yoshida set is region free though, so that's a positive for anyone in the U.S. locked to A who wants it.

Eh, screw it. I made the order with Target. Had Amazon let me use my rewards points on pre-orders, I would've glad reserve from them instead.

Guess this will be my first Arrow purchase.

Annnnd it looks like Amazon decided to surprisingly enough, actually price match the Target price inclusive of the 10% coupon code. Which currently brings the Amazon price to $85.40... those of you lucky enough to order from them without having to pay tax might be enticed to go back and order there... but the stackable $5 off coupon and potential 5% REDcard bonus might keep the favor with Target.

Order an email gift card for $XX to be sent to yourself. Pay for it with amazon rewards points. Then apply the gift card to the pre-order. I do this all the time.
