iTunes includes the hour long documentaries for each prequel including Within a Minute from Sith, The Beginning from phantom and Puppets to Pixels on Clones. I couldn’t find them in the blurays and there could be more.

The blurays missed some of the content off the DVD special editions but seem to be on the digital versions

According to the price tracker the collection has been $74.99 and $69.99 before. If you can wait, these prices will probably come back at some point.

Personally, I think the price is still too high for a double dip if you already have the discs. I'm also only interested in the original trilogy (don't really want the prequels in my collection). I wish we'd get similar prices as some of the European iTunes stores.

Thank you. I (idiotically) sold off my DVD special editions, so anything that wasn't on the Blu-rays, I no longer have.

On the Irish and UK version of The Force Awakens the image on the main menu of the iTunes Extras package is just the movie poster.

I see that the US iTunes version has movie clips framed by the hanger of a Star Destroyer. Was it like this from it's initial release or was it an upgrade that came later?

I've been watching the digital prices for the Star Wars movies for a couple of years now, and the cheapest I remember the bundle being on any service was $69.99 on Star Wars day (May 4th) 2016.

I had been holding out hope for $59.99, making it $10 a film, but after sales only dropping to $79.99 for Rogue One and The Last Jedi releases and the same on Star Wars day 2017, I had about given up.

Vudu had a number of promotions this month on % off of purchases. I ended up using the 20% coupon to purchase the Star Wars bundle (still on sale) for $63.99 ... and with Disney purchases transferring between iTunes and Vudu via DMA and now Movies Anywhere, I now have all 6 movies and all of the extras in all of my digital distribution services.

I think Amazon had a sale of each Star Wars film in their format for $10 each.

Apparently Rian Johnson has recorded a commentary track for The Last Jedi. Hopefully, Disney & Lucasfilm will include that on the iTunes version AND hopefully it will also cause Abrams' commentary to be added to The Force Awakens.

Seems like a tasty selection of extras for The Last Jedi

http://www.starwars.com/news/star-wa...edi-comes-home

What exactly does this mean?
* Digital bonus offerings may vary by retailer.

That not all the extras listed will available or that all these extras are the "basic" but just that some retailers will get more behind the scenes stuff?

It means that due to how digital works, each provider will have a different set of extras.

iTunes should basically be the Blu-ray with commentary and all features since iTunes' system supports that.

Vudu should have nearly everything but the commentary.

Amazon should be similar and Google Play might have some of the extras.

Has there been any whispers of the The Force Awakens being upgraded to include the Abrams commentary?

I'm sickened - I read the Last Jedi release announcement and hadn't considered that March 13th was not a worldwide release date. I actually have to wait until April 9tg to get TLJ here.

Good to know.

The Extras preview isn't on the Irish Store yet but hopefully well get the same.

I don't do social media but it is times like this that I'm tempted to so I could flood Lucasfilm twitters, etc with pleas for the Abrams commentary.

I'm curios about the iTunes release of the last jedi.

Supposedly this is the first SW to be released by Disney in UHD BD with dolby vision and all the bells and wistles.

But on iTunes is still only lists as normal HD?

iTunes does not have any Disney films in 4K.

a la Coco, you should be able to redeem on MA and have UHD rights recorded.

Has anyone accessed the isolated score version of the film yet?

Rian Johnson announced it as a hidden feature and as best I can tell it is a Movies Anywhere exclusive.

Can anyone guess as to how this feature will be released out the US - assuming it is?
