Just talked to them on chat. I should be refunded the difference automatically under Pre-Order Price Guarantee, and if not then I can contact them for a refund. Apparently mine is being dispatched soon, which is good news, and I ordered this with a £5-off code so £12.35 for my most anticipated release ain't bad!

Talk to them on chat. Just say what I said, something like "This item has dropped to £17.35 but my order hasn't been adjusted to reflect this price" or something to that effect. They acknowledged the price was at £17.35 when I contacted them, and said the transcript of our conversation would be proof enough if I wasn't automatically refunded.

Update on my copy.
Just had a mail from Amazon saying 'as a once only' they're refunding me £2.88 (to bring the purchase price to 17.35). Just had a look at my account and they've added this already... hopefully it ship at some point today/tonight (I'm on Prime). I was going to send a reply mail to Amazon saying that the price should have auto adjusted to the lowest price - especially as it's still live and hasn't shipped yet.. but decided it was useless, as they've already rectified the error in another way (partial refund). It does make me ponder how robust their pre-order guarantee system is, as some on the board had their prices adjusted and others didn't. |

I don't know why everyone is panicking as the Amazon pre-order price guarantee always kicks in and is based upon the lowest price up to 23.59 on release day. So anyone who has been charged the higher price will get the refund processed automatically tomorrow.
