Superman Returns became unsalvageable once they cast the title role.

My question for you is: Will the BD Harry Potter experience get me into these movies?

Do I need to watch em in order to know what's going on? or is there a best of the series that I can buy and try to enjoy?
This is why i've held off, nothing has captivated me into buying these. I've seen bits and peices on cable HD, and never felt like "man thats awesome" or "I can't wait to get that on BD"

Here is my list of movies that I couldn't get into that most people consider great (which I think is more interesting because there are always movies out there that are just crap).

1. Army of Darkness or any movie spawned from it

2. Any of the Pirates of the Carribean movies. I just fall asleep...I think I just hate pirates though.

Totally agree, the ending wasn't bad it just wasn't needed. Still a damn good film though.

Lord of the Rings, I still regret having paid the theaters to watch those boring films. I think I watched an hour of all 3 combined (last 20 mins of each movie) the rest was just too much damn talking and walking so damn boring.

With you on all of these. Never seen scarface and don't care to see it. Spiderman movies were OK at best. I fell asleep through the third one a few days ago. Thank god it was free. Superman - well - They need to pick a damn LEAD SUPERMAN ACTOR and stick with him and REDO THE DAMN MOVIES in order and do it right. Otherwise it's just crap over and over again.

I don't think there will ever be anyone that can match Christopher Reeve for Superman.

Finally, someone said it!

He was the BEST and ONLY superman in my book. The series should have died with him.

  • Running with Scissors
  • A Scanner Darkly
  • Superman Returns
  • All Harry Potters
  • Momento (because of the back-tracking, I just gave up about an hour in. I wanted to know what happened, but at the same time, I didn’t care about any of the characters and the way it unfolded.) I never did finish watching it.
  • Rent
  • The Chronicals of Narnia
  • 300
  • Dogma
  • If it has a Wayans brother, I won’t watch it.

Matrix trilogy for me also, couldn't get into these as much as all the people around me. Keanu Reeves annoys me.

Army of Darkness was the spawn of Evil Dead & Evil Dead II; It has no progeny of its' own.

transformers (movie sucked ass...was the hot chick actor the only thing worth watching?,pretty bad soundtrack...stupid ass plot...could have being 70% better)

harrypotter (sometimes i dont like these movies,i like them at times when im super dead bored...but dont teens with accents get you tired of it all already?..seen the 1st one in the theaters,Free with the other ones on Tv years later)

superman returns (saw it...man?..was there anything new happening here?...felt like i was watching smallvile again!!)

superbad (hearing a fat teenager say the f word many times and talking about getting laid gets tired, movie reminds me of american pie with diffent people and small number of friends...maybe I Would see part 2.....not alot of funny parts....give it at 5.1 out of 10)

Harry Potter series...- not for me
Kingdom of Heaven - I hate Orlando Bloom (he overacts every scene of every role he's ever played)
Troy - way too long
Alexander - worthless
Se7en - movie has no flow...
2001 A Space Oddysey...its good, but just not for my gen...sooooo slow (still haven't seen the whole thing)
Napolean Dynamite - unless you're completely baked this movie is just stupid
Fight Club - y is Brad Pitt's character in that movie...the movie is beyond my comprehension, even though I like it
Ocean's 12 - just because it blows so much
Terminator - no idea why but I've never been able to finish watching it
Something about Mary - I hate all those actors

and some generelizations of crappy movies
- anything with Afleck is crap
- anything with Orlando Bloom (or at least his parts)
- anything with Ben Stiller (I like Zoolander but only because of Jerry Stiller/Ferrell)
- anything with Cameron Diaz or Julia Roberts (these ppl should never be allowed to speak on film)

The premise was hilarious, crawl through a small door, become John Malkovich, then get ditched off the side of the Jersey Turnpike... but that was all in like the first 10 minutes. The rest of the movie was a snooze fest for me.

Other movie I could not get in to, without a doubt:

The Royal Tenenbaums

I cannot begin to describe how unbelievably bored I was watching that movie.
