The game's world will probably be twice the scale as in RDR. I agree, they'll likely go with a different title rather than Red Dead Redemption.
Maybe Red Dead Revolution or something.

Rumors suggests that you'll be able to pick from 3 characters along the story path. I can imagine a few characters now.

I'm really hoping the whole map is open at the start with the ability to swim this time.

With over 15 million copies sold, Take Two have confirmed that Red Dead Redemption is Rockstar Games best selling title to date (Excl. GTA)

There has to be new game coming.

I believe it. Western movies don't do too well these days in theaters, but games are a different story thankfully.

Odd they'd say that when in the first 3 days of release, GTA surpassed Red Dead's total & thats before GTA's micro-transactions hit. Anyway both games are obviously successful.

Hopefully Red Dead will be released next year. Or maybe a new RS gaming console. lol

I watched it in cinema. It's got beautiful cinematography and striking visuals for sure, and Leo did a solid performance in that and Tom Hardy too, but it's not typically the type of movie I skew towards watching. I'm more of an action oriented popcorn type or comedies. I like different genres but The Revenant is probably not along those. Loved Django though lol.

When I upgrade to a 4K OLED around maybe PS5 release, I'll probably pick it up. Movies are just too damn expensive on that form right not and barely use any new and expensive disk form to justify the prices.

I was also relieved when the story kicked into high gear after the
[Show spoiler] tea
was passed around.

Revenant, that bear attack was something and very convincing. Reminds me of the vicious bears in RDR in the forest area. They sneak up and next thing, Marston is half dead after a few claw swipes.

In RD3, I hope the forests go on even further than in RDR. RDR has a great range of terrain/scenery. The train is a cool feature too, along with the horses.

If R* are approaching Red Dead sequel like they did with GTA V style jump, it'd be huge. Really a phenomenal leap and they're just getting better and better it seems ALTHOUGH I have to profess GTA IV was a bit of a flop for me and the DLC edition on the complete version only pepped it up a little. Still very weak Imo as a game. Suppose they're allowed a small slip lol

I just hope when Red Dead II does swing around, it's really able to push the envelope and create a beautiful Western set experience.

Looks like we might be getting a remaster before a sequel

http://www.justpushstart.com/2016/09...ps4xbox-onepc/

says it will be announced on the 7th so possibly at the playstation event. It will be on xbox and PC at last.

This could happen as well as a sequel announcement since it was rumoured 2 was pulled from sonys E3 due to the shooting that happened.
