Turns out that used copy of Citizen Kane UCE is actually new and shrinkwrapped, but marked used (this store does that with random movies, dunno why), so I got essentially a new copy for $20.95 after tax

And my receipt does have a 25% off one item coupon at the bottom, eligible til the end of Oct.

I can confirm as of 9-27-16 that the Nutty Professor still rings up $6.99.

I've wanted that Halloween bluray just for the Terror in the Aisles documentary for a while now. I never seem to find it much lower than $8. I wanted to use up a giftcard anyway. It's a part of the 2 for $15, but I couldn't find another movie that I wanted for an extra $5. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Maybe I'll hit up another FYE and attempt a return/rebuy.

I used the 40% off coupon on Hercules. I was going to blow some DMR points on it, but who knows if it would come with a slip. I need to double check, but I'm confident that now I have every single theatrical Disney Animated blurays released so far, every Pixar bluray except Shorts vol 1, and every (mostly crappy) sequel bluray except Belle's Enchanted Christmas. I got a lot of the lower tier ones during the gohastings glory days, but I never caught Hercules at a reasonable price until today.

I don't know how you guys find used Criterions at FYE. I searched and searched and didn't see a single one.

It's not in the Sream Factory thread, but I also saw Nightbreed for $17.99 on the Halloween display. Not the limited edition of course. I also saw that's where the copies of Sleepaway Camp 1 were as well as lone copies of Cat's Eye, It, and Salem's Lot.

I just have to point out that it's really weird and nostalgic feeling to browse through a store for movies. I haven't really done it since Blockbuster went away. Unless you count buying the movie money blurays on endcaps at Best Buy.

It's just YMMV. Since they are used it all depends on what people bring in.

Ditto. They used to be $19.99 around here but most of the ones I saw yesterday were $24.99. I decided on Cronos because it was $19.99. It's nice/potentially dangerous at my store because they actually group the Criterions under "C" in each genre.

I see a few new ones every now and then but never see any used. Then again I'm pretty sure my neck of the woods people don't get those and if they do probably don't sell them lol.

The trade-in math at FYE confounds me a little.

I traded in two movies and both scanned at $2 each. It showed $4 total on the cash register. Then with the 50% bonus credit, it came out to $7.5 store credit. Not complaining, but how does $4 become $7.5 with 50% bonus?

I was there tonight and got Salems Lot and Cat's Eye, but couldn't really find anything else. Of course now that I've already left I'm starting to wish I would've picked up Tales From The Crypt Demon Knight.

I can't remember if the employee at checkout said B2G1 half off or free? There's always so much BS pushed at you at retail checkout nowadays (join this, do that) ....I tuned out.

Went to my local FYE to use the 40% coupon but couldn't find anything. Discount rack is unorganized at my store (mixed with used movies).
