Not necessarily, I'm sure Tom Hardy had a lot of say of how things got done.

So he couldn't control Hardy?
Hardy doesn't listen to directors?

According to Midnight's Edge Hardy wanted control before taking the role. It was a very much a Hardy driven production. But him and Trank had a mutual understanding on that...so the production went smoothly.

Does this thing come with some sort of cover to the case? Now the question is if this will get a retail sale version?

I do hear that Hardy is a bit difficult to work with at times. Which I can imagine since I have family members that have similar "mannerisms" and "presence" to Hardy. Well, KINDA anyway. I don't know. All I know is, I can just tell. Not talking crap about Hardy. I'm sure he is a cool guy. Just that he doesn't take BS is all.

Hated it. I get the idea, a man who once controlled an empire of crime can no longer control his mind or bowels. There's no sense of tragedy or loss as Al Capone was simply a prematurely aged scumbag. The pace is funereally slow and the only attempt at dramatic tension is the FBI investigation into Capone's supposedly hidden $10 million, but it's not really developed and only crops up when the director needs to wake the audience. Hardy grunts and defecates endlessly. Recommended only to devoted fans of the actor and coprophiliacs.

This movie was not good what so ever but I couldn't keep my eyes off it. Kept watching thinking "theres no way its actually this bad, it will get better." It never did though

I had to look that word up. Hrrm. "Noun. coprophiliac (plural coprophiliacs) someone with a marked interest in excrement, especially the use of feces or filth for sexual excitement."

Salo...

So this is literally a shitty movie? Is that cover art his shittin' face?

Is it entertainingly bad, like Travolta's The Fanatic, or just bad bad?

P.S. Change the thread title! It's Capone now.

I like the movie, and no. It's nowhere near as bad as The Fanatic. HOWEVER, it is a weird movie. Tom Hardy is unintentionally comical as Capone. Again, weird movie, but that's why I like it. xD
