Here's a suggestion I just threw up on your Facebook wall but figured I'd give it a shot here too. Should be right up your alley: The 1980 Canadian mystery flick DEADLY COMPANION (aka Double Negative). It stars Michael Sarrazin, Susan Clark and Anthony Perkins (!) and features SCTV's John Candy, Eugene Levy and Joe Flaherty (!!) in cameos. Now if this kinda nostalgia doesn't have MVD all over it, I don't know what does!

Both at one point Anchor Bay titles incidentally.

Speaking of, what's the copyright status on Savannah Smiles? I've seen 2 releases by Hen's Tooth and Cheezy Flicks respectively, yet the Anchor Bay release lists StudioCanal. So I'm guessing it's in the Public Domain yet StudioCanal owns the "official" rights?

- Windrider has been pushed due to rights issues. MVD is seeking to work the issue out with MGM to release it later in 2018.

- The Return of Swamp Thing is coming next year as well.

Any chance of MVD doing 9 Deaths of the Ninja? That's a title that often comes up on genre fan wishlists? Pretty sure a bunch of people here would love to have it on a good release (myself included).

9 Deaths of the Ninja was a Crown International title. Therefore, Vinegar Syndrome is likely the best bet to do that one.

Do you have the rights to the 1986 comedy THE CHECK IS IN THE MAIL with Brian Dennehy and Anne Archer? Media originally released it on video and I'm sure the rights reverted back to the producers. I was convinced MGM had the rights to it, at one point.
