Yes the PQ isn't hat good. The Beast Must Die is pretty bad. Asylum is ok, better but with moments which put it back. And Now the Screaming Starts is the best. Each definitely come off looking like film, which isn't bad. Even though I really like Asylum, my personal fav here is And the Screaming Starts. The color is rich and darker tone holds a lot of detail.
In all I'm very happy with the extras in the box set and it's a nice presentation. |

Received mine today as well, "Jack The Ripper" was also in the shipping box.
![]() Got #1150/3500. I noticed upon opening, the individual amarays (agree, the black is very nice) have that stupid sealing label tape along the top, so I suspect that's a good indication they intend to sell these separately as well, in the near future. I plan to watch "Jack" tonight, double billing it with "Murder By Decree" (Sherlock Holmes vs Jack). Tomorrow I'll do an Amicus evening... ![]() edit: I thought for some reason "Jack" was a limited edition but there's no number on it. Doesn't matter, still looks lovely. |

No big thing, but it may mean they will eventually sell it separate as well. |

I didn't think to question it. I was just glad that I only had to remove that &#@%ing security tape from two Blu-rays instead of all four. |

I'm extremely interested in this. I couldn't find any mention in previous posts (forgive me if I missed it), but does anyone know if this set is region free? My player is region B locked unfortunately.

Sadly, Amazon.ca still hasn't gotten any in stock. I got the customary e-mail "...Do you want to keep waiting for this item?" I cancelled the order and re-ordered on Amazon.com; losing any pre-order savings I would've had. I remember with the Phantasm box set, Amazon.ca failing to ever get any in stock before they went out of print.

Yes, I ordered mine from Amazon.com too. In fact, Amazon UK didn't even have it on their listings, only a DVD set.
