Like I said earlier, many SC restorations are pretty decent, these 4K restorations for the three Rambo films are also done by SC. I still have hopes that SC won't screw these up, especially these films don't have the 3D converted versions to let SC DNR the hell of them. Though I'm not so confident with the encoding of SC.

I have always felt that First Blood was Stallones best movie, even over Rocky. IMO, this was the last movie he made where he put on a really good performance, before he decided to go full on action hero for about 20 years straight.

And yeah, I've gotta agree with the others above: SC have actually been doing some pretty nice restorations in recent years, but they're shortchanging them with their typically dreadful encodes for 1080p BD, discs replete with blocking, banding, you name it. The new transfers that they did for Rambos 1-3 are decent, but the discs themselves have plenty of artefacts in the video. And yet, for what this is worth, their UHD encode of T2 was much better than the accompanying BD encode... |

Color and image clarity will be incredible. Unless it's a 3D theatrical release, you guys have no reason to worry about DNR ever being introduced to the process, and between James Cameron / Studio Canal, you know who's got the 3D obsession.

I don't own any SC UHDs, but their blu of Mulholland Drive is awesometacular. So there's hope.
