Vol 2 sort of alluded to her becoming a member of the Guardians just like Yondu did. So I'd say it's possible.

I don’t think she’ll get killed, but possibly injured or held captive. I think Gunn is really intent on having the Guardians stay together for Vol. 3, which will be the last time we see this incarnation together. Infinity War would ruin that.

I noticed Kraglin isn't in this even though he had pretty much joined the Guardians at the end of Vol. 2. I wonder if they'll explain his absence.

The 5 major Guardians & then Nebula & Mantis are the ones to be showcased here, not to say that Kraglin won't have a small cameo appearance in the movie,

I could see Mantis or Nebula biting it though. Mantis is kind of a meh character, and Nebula is kind of unlikable. Replacing her for Gamora would be a HUGE mistake.
