Finally, a Dolby Vision re-release that’s neither limited or a steelbook. Hopefully this is the start of a new trend. The Columbia Classics version is superb as-is though.

Either that or Sony's PR department is confused as to the features on the Columbia Classics disc. A similar mistake probably led to the replacement bonus disc for Lawrence of Arabia in the boxset; someone in PR must have copied all the extras from the limited edition BD boxset to the press release, without noticing half of them were exclusive to that set & on a separate bonus disc. At least Sony made good on that mistake; perhaps they actually did (or will) remaster it in DV this time.

Shocked we finally got a release date after so many years of it stuck in the Columbia set. This is such a great film.
Even more shocked it’s not a Steelbook not that I’m complaining. Getting a bit tired of ‘em and the high price point. |
