The motorcycles will be cool as they'll actually let you see what your character looks like during gameplay since Cyberpunk 2077 is a first person game. If you can rotate the camera around while on the bike as it's stationary, even better if you can zoom in. Going very slowly on the bike is almost like walking as a 3rd person character, since it has a narrow profile unlike a car. At least that's how I feel about it and another bonus to motorcycles in the game.

There are three main story paths to take in Cyberpunk.
Business corporate path, Nomad desert path, and city street path. I'll start with the City path, as the city is the main attraction in the open world, and gives me access to the sport bikes hopefully right away. The Nomad, you start in the desert. I think with Corporate, you start and play for awhile in a corporate building before gaining more access to the city if that's true. Nomad reminds me of Fallout Vegas. They said you won't have access to the city right away and have to earn your way in through missions due to the border gate toll booths. Corporate, I think you gain access to some cool weaponry. |

Jesus, who the hell are these idiots that can't appreciate longer games? This is my biggest pet peeve with modern gamers. I know i sound a bit "Off my lawn(!)" right now but when you are getting a HUGE open world story driven game for up to a hundred hours or so of gameplay for $60-70, you want to complain? I'm sure you're happier getting screwed for 5hr campaigns instead ![]() |

That article mentions a lot of gamers didn't make it to the end of the game according to CD Projekt Red, makers of Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk. I wonder if the complaint is about the story not being focused enough to keep their interest. I know if a movie strays from the main plot and doesn't push the story forward with most scenes, I tend to lose interest. For video game stories, that could be true as well for some gamers. While reading a novel book, there's plenty of time for the book to indulge in lots of details that a film can't, but a video game should also be able to indulge in lots of quests and details too regarding the main plot. On the other hand, I totally understand the complaint that "the story was too long" if what they mean by that is there was not enough focus to the story, and it lost my interest. I would say that's true of a game like Days Gone. I totally appreciated the incredible amount of missions, but if I was judging it solely by the story (which I'm not since I prefer gameplay over story in video games), then I'd be bored by it. A lot of quests didn't push the plot forward and lagged the storyline badly. I felt the same way about the story text of other games too. The reason is, I want to play a game first, not watch a movie unless the story is compact and really captivating in every scene, compelling me to continue watching. Only some games keep me focused like that, due to my time limits but also the focus of the story. In other words, I will sometimes skip text or scenes and get faster to the gameplay. For Witcher 3, there were a lot of missions that didn't push the main plot forward either. Am I complaining? No, because I enjoyed the missions for the most part and the length of that epic game. So it's also a matter of story length and focus compared to the amount of missions perhaps in order to complete a game like Witcher 3. Interesting they made the story for this one "a little shorter" as they say in response to that feedback and their stats looking at how many finished the game or not. |

I know the article touched on gamers not finishing the game and perhaps they've been using Trophies/Achievements to track that, but it's pretty poor as a way to gauge why people dropped off imo. A lot of people may have short attention spans and cba sometimes undertaking an RPG but that doesn't mean they didn't consider it engaging during the time they played.
Personally i hope Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't feel cut for time when it does come out and i'm looking forwards to the Game of the Year PS5 version og Witcher 3 immensely. |

Nobody knows until it's out. Only thing that we know is that the Series X/S version will have Dolby Vision and Atmos where as the PS5 won't.
Other than performance is totally an unknown for now. The actual next gen versions of the game won't be out until next year though so you will be playing the PS4/Xbox version of the game with slight improvements to load times etc. |

Time will tell but i am really, really looking forwards to the Witcher 3 Game of the Year PS5 edition tbh and experiencing it all over again but hopefully with slightly overhauled mechanics and better loading of areas. I also wanted to play the DLC so it will hopefully be the best replay in 4K on PS5. |
