The Smallville BD is indeed being released the same day as the Superman BD in France

Plus a "Superman & Lois" BD set, as well, I think...

I might have to agree with that. The Flesicher, 1978 film and TAS are the best versions of Superman on screen, however out of the group, TAS is the DEFINITIVE Superman on screen. It was most faithful in bringing the lore of the comics out of anything that's been produced on screen yet.

Yeah we still need the spinoffs: Zeta Project, but more importantly Static Shock!
Not as big of a fan of those two as the rest of the DCAU, but I agree, they should get blu-rays. I'd buy them.

Crossing my fingers! It just makes sense for Warner to put this show out this year on blu!

If this is indeed coming out in October we should be getting a press release any day now.

I'm so ****ing happy right now. Knew it was coming but still.
I actually have the french sets of both BTAS and BB, due to the price being very much less!
It doesn't say "Deluxe" so hopefully it's just a slim standard edition, which the other ones is that I have, and I prefer!
Can't believe I soon will have all the essentiel DCAU stuff on blu! Would love Static and Zeta, but I can live with my dvd's!

If it is Superman season, they better release the Fleischer Superman cartoons on Blu-ray too.

I just hope this is for real this time. So many false hopes raised over the years!

I'll buy this while it wasn't as revolutionary as Batman: The Animated series, it was still a fun show.

With this, we will just need "The Zeta Project" and "Static Shock" on BD in order to have a complete DCAU experience in HD.

Still hoping for 2004's "The Batman" in full HD on physical media. I like to consider that a prequel to "Teen Titans". It works surprisingly well.

It is on blu-ray though, just sayin'...

Ok, with my fun out of the way, yes, it would be nice to get a Warner Brothers release on blu-ray that is just the shorts. The 2 disc DVD set they came out with was awesome! So that, but in HD on blu. I very much agree!

I would say which one, but any of them are better than that poor excuse of a Blu-Ray release.

Yes, a full HD release of The Batman on Blu-ray would be most welcome, and we would finally be able to see the series on disc in full widescreen as originally produced.

A Blu-ray release of Adventures of Superman wouldn't go amiss either, or indeed any of the older DC series that still exist on film.

I'll certainly be very much looking forward to upgrading Superman: TAS from my old DVDs, as the last of the original volume releases was from the problematic era of 2006-2008 when large amounts of Warner DVDs were subject to poor QC at the manufacturing stage - a fact that more people have sadly become aware of in recent years when they've attempted to watch releases from that time only to discover that the discs have rotted.

This. And it'll pair well with Teen Titans and Legion Of Superheroes.

With The Batman, I only enjoyed it when Batgirl was in it.

I actually thought season three was the series' most bland. Batgirl is fine, but her introduction made the series kind of lose it's darker tone. Season four got things back to form.
