Notice Fred Ward isn’t listed as an interview subject but then I realized I don’t think I’ve ever seen or found an interview with Fred Ward about any movie. He’s probably the most private actor ever

This is awesome-- I was expecting a release from a collector's label like this or Scream Factory if the title ever got upgraded, but I had never guessed it was going to be a UHD release! I love that the smaller labels or doing UHD discs.

Come on, Criterion. I don't expect you to go back and reissue tons of titles in UHD, but could you at least start now for your future releases? You're slacking, dudes!

Still disappointed that they don't do combo packs. Now with BD + DVD combo packs, I never really liked them. But with 4K + BD combo packs, they have utility for me as I do not have a 4K projection setup and I can stick with the BD as to avoid some conversion issues. I bought both editions for Pitch Black and Flash Gordon...the former partially because I wanted a slip for the 4K, and the latter because I owned the old Universal BD already and I wouldn't have wanted to part with it since the 4K didnt have one - yet at the same time that BD sucked and if I was going to keep a BD around, it wasn't going to be that disc.

But I just can't keep buying two editions of every single title going forward. Too much of a waste. Unless I just pick up the BDs during an Arrow sale.

I pre-ordered Arrow's Pitch Black 4K from Diabolik, and it arrived early and perfectly packed.

Just gave them more $$ for Tremors.

I’ve decided to give Diabolik a try on this and Kino’s 4K of Mad Max after hearing good things from people on this forum. How are these items usually packed?

IIRC, for a couple movies, a decent sized box with plenty of air packets...it's definitely not the two cardboard sheets glued together to make an envelope a la Target.

Tremors 4K has a bunch of extra goodies so probably a slightly larger box for that one. I'm guessing the posters aren't total full size 27x40 judging by the promo pic.

Looking forward to picking this up. Oct/Nov/Dec are stacked with fantastic releases.

Plus, I don't you could go wrong with either DiabolikDVD or BullMoose. The only problem with Diabolik is they ship when all items are available. If you place a preorder, make sure the release dates are close together (and there are no delays).

If Target or Best Buy lowers the price, then they'll price match. Otherwise it probably won't drop.
