That's true to an extent but still to just go deleting posts that aren't problematic and with no explanation is heavy handed.

Oh yeah, that happened plenty of times to me before on a old gaming forum I use to go to. One time I drove a Staff member nuts to the point of him ending up permabanning me and quit. Other Staff members quickly found out and unbanned me, then told me I may not break the rules, but I sure do push the limits.

The reasons for such actions are beyond my knowledge or comprehension which I do not pretend to understand, but I'd much prefer to be able to discuss a movie, instead of being stopped from doing so along with others, because one or two people are posting things that arouse the mods attention. It's the lesser of the two evils to keep the thread open but clean it up (for whatever reason).

Exactly. The second she lost those powers in the 2000s during X-Treme X-Men, she also declined in popularity. It's not an easy storyline to introduce in other media as well, such as the movies or the TV shows. I'm glad Carol took her rightful mantle as one of Marvel's leading ladies considering how much Rogue poached from her.

dude I got banned for 5 days last week and all I did was post two gifs of Gollum from the two towers as a response. The Mods make no sense at times .

Probably the strangest banned I ever got was when I posted an interview of Kevin Feige talking about Captain Marvel in a Captain Marvel thread. Seriously, I'm not even exaggerating. I was banned for 2 whole weeks. WTF!? Worst part is a certain member here (which I will not name out of respect) went way more off-topic than me just a few minutes after and got off the hook.

I speculate we have a rep system that we cannot publicly see and eyeballs are all around those who made a little too many "mistakes".

They are a bit aggressive, I'll say that. But then again, they are like that with everyone. Judging from everyone I talked to that got banned anyway. I always respected their decisions to banned me. Except for the Captain Marvel incident and one mod I'm not a fan of because he would often troll me by banning me for not liking Ghostbusters 2016. Seriously, no joke. He literally left a smiley on my banned post. Just a smily. That's it. Not even a reason as to why. And this guy ain't no kid either, so how mature. Not gonna say his name. All I was say is, CB. That's all I will say. Likely, he's no longer here. Otherwise, I would still be banned.
