I do like the fact that you can switch from 1st to 3rd, I am more of a 1st person shooter type but admit 3rd person is a nice feature. Am looking forward to “trying” this game out on Gamepass.

Though not so much at 30fps. Would be nice if they made a 40FPS mode available for those with 120hz screens.

There's a physical edition but they burned me with Halo and Forza Horizon where the disc is useless for long terms preservation so I will wait to make sure there is an offline launchable game on the disc before getting that, otherwise I get digitial.

I decided to get the steelbook upgrade for $35 since it includes the dlc. I’ll play it on Gamepass and pick up a physical copy when it’s cheap.

That’s a good plan. I talked myself out of buying the Constellation Edition, this seems like a reasonable alternative.

I'm going to play a 1000 hours of this on game pass. I don't buy physical video games anymore and if I can get it on a subscription service that's what I'll do. Polar opposite to how I treat movies.

According to a now deleted Tweet from Bethesda, none of the physical editions include a disc. If true it’s extremely scummy that they didn’t say this before preorders went live. Also a $70 release without a disc doesn’t sit well with me. I get that it’ll be patched to the hilt but it should still be the consumers choice.

FFS…why does the boxart for the physical copy only say Xbox Series X? No indication of Series S or Windows, both of which are digital only. The physical copy for PC says it’s a Steam digital code.

They better get their act together, this older Bethesda tweet says it depends on the version (and specifically the Constellation Edition does not have a disc).

Constellation Edition is showing in stock for pre-order as of 12:04pm pacific time today at the Bethesda Shop for either XBOX or PC. Just wanted people to know in case they were looking for one. https://gear.bethesda.net/products/s...lation-edition

Update: 12:10pm, shows out of stock on both again, but at least more pre-orders are being offered from time to time.

Like any other "physical" PC release. You get a physical box with a code voucher inside. Why folks buy this way is beyond me.

That video had a lot of spaceship dogfighting and there's two things I hate in games is dogfighting and underwater levels.

Hope it's kept to a minimum or you can skip it somewhat.
