I don't even have 100 movies yet and I'm already finding storage cumbersome. I also find a bookshelf full of movies to be less aestheticly pleasing these days. I keep my movies tucked away and out of sight.

I completely understand where OP is coming from

I'm thinking about converting from shelves to drawers. It'll keep them out of sight, and the spines will be horizontal so easier to read.

Is is just me or the did the English mono track sound very weak and poor? No bass at all and it sounded more like Dolby Digital track. I wonder if they used the original sound elements. This is were a 5.1 remix may have sounded better and fuller, i believe.

Any suggestions on which audio track (Italian or English) is better on this one for a first viewing? Does one better match their lips, or does one have more parts dubbed by the actual actors?

Definetly the Italian!!!!! I have heard that the film was intended for distribution in Italy only. Don´t know if that´s true, but definetly go with the Italian.

Thank you, I plan to watch it this weekend. Sounds like the Italian is the way to go. I'll sample the English, but appreciate the suggestions.

Yup. Italian 100%. It's so well done, with the sound effects, voice recording, and music having far more depth, and 100% of the actors are speaking Italian in this film, so all the lips sync perfectly as well. The English track is practically useless for this film, imho.

By the way, I purchased both of the limited editions of these, and must say that the 2nd limited edition that is available at Cauldron now (the first is sold out) looks better in person than it does on the internet. Kinda threw me a bit at how much more I appreciated it once I got a chance to closely inspect it.

Watched this yesterday and definitely agree Italian is the way to go. I'd have figured that out pretty quickly if I'd sampled the two, but appreciate the replies.

Shameless recently put this out, and I just received my copy. IMO it looks much better than the Cauldron version which suffers from a magenta push in comparison. The Shameless version also gives you the option to watch the movie with the correct night-for-day filter for the introduction.

There's also a FilmArt version that's coming out soon, but it might be using the same scan as Shameless.
