Despite the problems I have had with BB lately this was a slam dunk for me.

Preordered.

Haven't seen it yet, thought the first two were mediocre at best but this is a fantastic looking Steelbook and I’ve heard nothing but praise for this third installment so I’ll blind buy.

[Show spoiler]Everyone knows about Peter 2 & Peter 3 at this point. But I thought the pacing was good and the return of Alfred Molina and Willem DaFoe was worth it.

Sadly I’m in Canada. Best Buy Canada basically blocks steelbooks from hitting here. I miss Futureshop. At least Zavvi will deliver to us.

Default Anyone know resolution?

This steelbook on this website shows Upscaled 4k with HDR 10 only. The regular 4k Blu Ray says Native 4k with Dolby Vision. Anyone know what’s up with that?

Completely unnecessary post, not everyone hangs around 15 year olds who constantly talk about spoilers so no, even though I assumed, I did not know.

While spoilers shouldn't be posted here you should probably assume things will pop up eventually since the movie has been out for almost 2 weeks.

Best to just avoid any threads involving Spider-Man or the internet altogether lol

or if people would keep the threads about this discs separate from the threads about the movies, none of this would be an issue. there's a Movies forum for a reason.

God forbid people discuss the film in threads about the home media release of the film. It's for specs and artwork discussions only.

And not everyone is a geriatric waiting for theaters to have at most 3 people per auditorium 3 months after a movie's release to watch this.

What are the chances of us getting a complete Spider-Man 4k set for ALL the films and not just this trilogy? What are the chances of another steelbook set?

What are the chances of somebody ever actually knowing what the chances of anything are when nothing has been confirmed?

What are the chances of somebody asking "what are the chances of..." something happening in almost every thread of a steelbook release?

People really are on a special one on this thread, aren't they? He's just asking a question. Go drink coffee or something.

To give you an educated answer, I feel it's likely considering Sony released an ugly steelbook with Into the Spider-Verse and Venom and the first two MCU movies.

I'm sure after the box office success, they'll want to capitalize on the main three live action Spider-Men. So I feel like some sort of steelbook collection for the fanboys is not out of the question, especially since they did this for Tobey and Andrew's films already.

None of the art on these No Way Home editions is very good, they are all different levels of lazy and or terrible. This Steelbook is probably the best I've seen, and that Target exclusive art is by far the worst. I'm just gonna go with the regular 4k, it's underwhelming but I just don't collect ugly steals, and after all the amazing Steelbooks I've gotten this year, this just doesn't compare. Maybe Japan will get something better looking, here's to hoping. Plus Best Buy dents everything in the mail anyway.

With all due respect, I just watched this yesterday. I’m neither geriatric nor worried about Covid. I DO have a full time job, as does my wife. We also have a two-year old and my 18 year old son visiting from Texas. It’s challenging to find a day where our schedules allow for all three of us to go see a movie while the baby is at daycare and we are off work. However, I avoid these threads if I haven’t seen the movie yet.

I'm just saying that this is a thread to discuss the home media release and it's kind of foolish to think the biggest movie of the year would remain spoiler free two weeks after release. I know not everyone can make it out day one and I'm not saying that it's wrong to wait for one reason or another. But it is annoying that some people feel entitled that the audience should not discuss a film- especially in a home media release thread- solely because they haven't seen it yet. By the way I know you are just noting your position and this isn't necessarily thrown at you, especially since you mentioned avoiding certain threads. I did the same for this one, but unfortunately I spoiled Endgame for myself.

And not everyone is a total dick to other movie fans just because they have different preferences…. But here you are.
