Most of these are probably Region B so be aware of that if you're not region free (and why wouldn't you be? )
Geese, the sale I didn’t know I needed. That limited sale has some nice stuff.

I think the Eureka sale ends tomorrow, at the very least they mentioned the 2 for 35 ending tomorrow.

Believe it's just the 2 for 35 ending tomorrow.

Hey all! There's "officially" 30 minutes left on the BFI Easter Box Set sale (midnight GMT) and possibly the Shameless sale as well. (These weekend sales have a tendency to roll over until the morning though so it's hard to say.) Blue Underground sale at MVD ends at noon (ET) on Monday.

Kino's massive March Into April sale and AllTheAnime's Easter Sale both are approaching their final day.

The Arrow UK/US (ending 5/2) & ClassicFlix (ending 4/30) sales continue.

Not sure how you might want to include this, but every time DeepDiscount has one of their 10% or 15% off coupons on "in stock only" titles, they also quietly include preorder titles that they already have in stock. This confusion occurs every time and I end up posting this trick in each sale thread.

You can find them by filtering Movies & TV > Coming Soon > In Stock, or use these links for each format:

Preorder UHDs

Preorder Blu-rays

Preorder DVDs

When does Kino have a sale similar to their 50% sale they just had? I was going to buy a Blu-ray but decided to wait for the 3 4K Kubrick movies to combine shipping with.

FYI: all listed in the Upcoming Events calendar in post #1:

The next KL sale will be their June Swoon (into July likely). Then September. And December (possibly into January).

They always last several weeks but never contain the same titles. The most recent sale had a considerably larger selection than prior sales—unclear if that’s a new trend. It’s best to get the titles you want when included because there’s no guarantee they’ll be in another sale (sometimes for years even).

Yeah I didn't see a point in buying a movie for $10 and then shipping for it for $8. So I decided to just wait for the Kubrick 4K releases in hopes they are part of some sort of sale.

A couple things to keep in mind with Kino. Their sales aren't a specific percentage off like 50%, and many are much more than half off. This last sale had about 800 titles, their catalog is deep, and they also have an ongoing While Supplies Last sale with very deep cuts on releases going out of print. It shouldn't be too hard to hit their free shipping threshold, but it helps if you start a wish list on their site so you're good to go next time.

Kino also added more titles during the sale. They also further reduced some sale items. I made a list the first time and the placed 3 orders. Some titles included in my 3rd order were less expensive than the originally posted sale price.

The thing is that I'm a picky collector now (I used to have a little over a 100 Criterions, most went unwatched when I decided to sell them off).

So really the only movie I thought about buying was Sebastiane and I'm a bit of a snob so movies must be Blu-ray or 4K, which would leave one Tom of Finland documentary on Blu-ray (but I find his work tacky- I just don't get it). There's this cool one called The Queen that is literally a prequel to Paris Is Burning, but I think its barebones and Netflix currently has it (and its not one I can see myself rewatching again and again, so the need to buy it isn't there).

So I decided to wait for the 3 Kubrick 4K releases coming out in the summer to meet the free shipping threshold as again I don't see the point in paying $8 to ship one $10 movie and the Kurbricks are 100% a must.

I guess I'm just asking if they ever have sales good enough like their recent 50% off one that might apply to the 4Ks.

Gotcha. Yes, they do have regular sales like this, plus 4Ks and even some new releases are usually included as well.

I don't recall the specific titles because I typed over the previous prices as I was placing my order. I just know I saved a few extra dollars than I expected.

Got it. Thanks! I compared it to gudemameshiba's part 1 and part 2 list of all the March Into April titles and prices and none of them you bought changed in price or were added later. Also, you bought 2 titles from the WSL sale for $4.99 each. To the best of my knowledge, Kino did not lower any of the prices during the sale, nor did they add titles. I think you might be confusing this big sale with WSL.

Quote:
KLI: We reduced the price on 112 WSL titles and added 5 new ones.
