I'm thinking of going for this US deal as all of the genre's seem right up my alley. Lot crime! However, have we ever found out how MVD will handle shipping in terms of dates? I usually order from Diabolik which gets me the titles early, but wondering will MVD ship these out early, on street date, or after street date?

$379 seems like a fair price for all the titles from March-December 2023.

As far as I can see, all we are missing out on is one Italian boxset as of right now. We would be getting the Franco Nero set, as well as the Japanese trilogy set.

I said screw it and ordered the bundle. There are a ton of interesting sounding titles coming, especially crime. HK, Italian, French, and Japanese titles always interest me and I want to support this label in anyway I can, so I just went for it, and the price seems fair enough seeing as I'll probably be buying all the titles anyways. No mention of the discord group in the receipt, which I'm guessing comes later?

I know on the UK website they mention an exclusive UK bundle for the titles which are UK only
it states
- We anticipate releasing 6 single (standard) releases and 1-2 box sets. In the event we release less box sets the single releases will be increased. (UK only)

Im still on the fence about the bundle since it still is a lot of funds as good of a deal as it is

Yeah, there will be an Italian boxset for sure, that the US misses out on. Who knows what the second one will be if there is a second.

The way I see it, is this is a way of helping them get off on their feet to make sure they are around for years to come and to make sure they continue to give us cult films. Yeah, it's a little expensive despite all the titles you are getting, but you're also helping them survive the crucial months. I'd say give it a thought. If it really is too expensive, then of course don't go for it, but if you're on the fence and the funds won't hurt you too much, I'd say give it a shot to just help them out slightly.

I think they tend to ship out pretty early if I recall right from the Arrow Gold backer thing. I know when I was a poor pleb backer (first 10) they came in a pretty timely manner with no complaints. I figure it’ll be 1 or 2 releases a month and the savings and convenience will be wonderful.

I think it’s pretty reasonable too. Especially since there’s going to be UK exclusives I don’t necessarily want, like Miami Blues, Welcome to the Dollhouse and She Dies Tomorrow. But I’m absolutely gonna get UK exclusive stuff like The Working Class Goes to Heaven and Man on the Roof. So the US bundle just feels more than adequate to me.

its actually cheaper to get the UK complete bundle then to get the USA bundle
The USA one comes out to be $402.75 after shipping while the UK one after conversion turns out to be $334.63 due to lack of VAT, and free shipping

im very tempted to go for the UK everything bundle, which includes all USA releases and the UK releases as well

I was tempted but then I’d get a bunch of titles I don’t necessarily want and can pick and choose on the UK only front later down the line. The other downside to that everything bundle is that it doesn’t not include March or April UK or US titles. I think the Cosa Nostra box is included with both options (but not in the Jun-Dec UK unique offer) So you still have to account for buying those if you truly intend to commit to a completionism run.

Glad to hear that with Arrow at least, they came in pretty quickly. Yeah, I'm thinking most of the UK only stuff will be exclusive because there are already releases here. Obviously there will be exceptions like Man on the Roof, but maybe they will release those later here as I can't imagine who has the rights to that here and The Working Class Goes to Heaven.

I’m region free thankfully so I don’t have to wait for some US label to take forever and a day to release a film here that will more than likely be disappointing and I’d much rather support Radiance from the outset, who will undoubtedly provide a lovingly curated product.
