Reservoir Dogs 4K UHD (1992)

I’m grateful this is coming to 4K but how about release Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fuction in 4K Dolby Vision the same day?!?? Pulp Fiction is his masterpiece. It helped soawn the indie movement. A lot of movies would never happen without Pulp. Idk why tf these studios make us clamor for nearly a decade to put out the movies we love. Throw Firest Gump in the trash. It's a textbook movie written for the drooling masses to gobble up. What were the best 2 mainstream movies if substance in ‘94? Pulp Fiction & Shawahsnk Redemption. Think the only people who do back and watch Forest are parents throwing it in for their kids or dullards. It's just such a canned movie, it was written before it was ever made. Nobody had the guts to make such a cheesy movie. For all the family values it's supposed to have it reinforces the stereotype of the girl who will a screw every guy but the one who actually loves her. Due to the fact she treated him, just like everyone else, like dog crap. She was the abuser who'd comfort him but not love him. Need his shoulder to cry on but not till she was sick did she throw him a lay. Jenny is not just a flawed character but an abuser of a nice guy. Pulp Fiction has violence and harsh language but it's metaphors and symbolism, not to mention it's perfection in it's complexity make it a great candidate for best pic but hell, Quiz Show was better than Gump...back on track, where is Pulp Fiction? Why would you make us wait 30 years to get it's great cinematography in 4K Dolby Vision? 4K is long in the tooth & we still can't get Fight Club nor Pulp in 4K Dolby Vision. What is wrong with every and anyone with a w/a stake in getting this out!

A little strange that the page was pulled. The rest of Lionsgate's slate is still up. Hopefully it just means Lionsgate wants to announce it formally before it's up at Amazon (similar to what Arrow did with the Shawscope vol 2 leak), rather than them canceling/delaying the release.

edit: Actually it looks like the other Lionsgate releases were pulled from Amazon too, so nothing being singled out here.

Got that UK Lionsgate steel so I guess I just don't care what the art looks like. That steel doesn't even have a BD logo on it, just the title and poster art. Hope the transfer is solid. Wasn't this a rumored Arrow title at one point?

I bet everyone mad that Kill Bill 1/2 and Death Proof aren't also getting UHDs at the same time would throw an even bigger fit if they found out all three movies were mastered in 2K and would be upscaled like Inglourious Basterds

There are no Weinstein credits in Reservoir Dogs. Neither brother is or was listed for this film.

If the results are as good as Inglorious Basterds I’ll take em.

I’m more ruing that KB will probably not have an Atmos track. The current 5.1 on the BD is a monster track, but I’d love an upgrade.

I'll second that. To this day I still get thrown off when I watch Strange Days on BD without the side breaks. I loved the way side 3 opened with the aerial shots of fireworks in Los Angeles. Set the mood for the third act perfectly

Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Kill Bill are with Paramount now. I don't think they'll let those titles (aruably the most well known in the Miramax catalogue) go.

Same, especially when they added fades to ease the transitions like on T2. To this day I still expect to see those fades.

Nope. These are titles that should get global releases with global Discs by Paramount.
