My favorite has to be Hard Target. I just like the gritty nature of the film and you cant go wrong with John Woo. Also The Quest maybe his finest achievement. It is a tour de force of martial arts like I have never seen before.

No offense to any fans, I'm admittedly not a fan of Van Damme in the least, but I LOVE Universal Soldier: Regeneration. I thought it was the best action flick of 2010, and I was totally bummed it didn't get a theatrical release. I know most Van Damme fans don't like it because its a departure from the other 2 UniSol movies that JCVD was actually in, since there is literally ZERO humor in it, and JCVD barely speaks in it (which i don't think is a bad thing), but i freaking adore UniSol: Regeneration. Amazingly brutal action from beginning to end. No noticeable CGI (which is really refreshing). The brawls between JCVD and Dolph Lundgren/Pitbull were just epic.

The fact that JCVD did most of his own fight scenes and stunts at his age is just awesome. He kicked some serious @$$. I tried watching Universal Soldier and Time Cop a few months after i bought UniSol: Regeneration on blu and i just couldn't get through them without wanting to fast forward through all the JCVD dialogue and bare-@$$ scenes. Again, no offense to his fans! I just can't appreciate the old JCVD flicks. I hope he does more UniSol stuff though, but only along the same lines as Regeneration.

I love JCVD. So many good movies to choose from:

Quote:
Bloodsport
Lionheart
Hard Target
Time Cop
Legionnaire
In Hell
Death Warrant
Universal Soldier
Knock Off
Replicant
Desert Heat
I hope he gets a part in Expendables 2 to make up for his poor decision to not be in the first one.

Yeah, all great fun. Universal Soldier is terrible though.

The film JCVD was disappointing though.

Yep,gotta love me some van Damme! In my teens it was mandatory to go and see his new films at the cinema!Saw Cyborg 7 or 8 times...

On Blu I'd buy:

Hard Target (Unrated)
Cyborg (Director's Cut)
Lionheart
UniSol
Bloodsport
Kickboxer
Knock Off

Seriously, it doesn't get any better than Lionheart.

And honestly, I'll take Sudden Death over Die Hard. For reals.

I would love to have this on blu-ray too. I just ordered Kickboxer, Universal Soldier: The Return, and Bloodsport. Another one I'm waiting on is The Quest, I hope it is released on blu-ray some time.
