That is unfortunate to hear.

I went with the Sonic variant. But a buddy of mine ordered the Shadow steelbook from Amazon and last time I heard from him, he still had not received it either.

If that's the case with the recent posts above, then why the hell are they still accepting orders for it? I mean that's just damned stupid on their part unless they actually do expect a supply at some point but then that wouldn't make sense for them to cancel indefinitely. Probably their stupid algorithm in play.

The Shadow one still hasn’t shipped from Amz (app says it should arrive Wednesday though).

Guess we’ll see. Hopefully it ships out tomorrow!

My only guess is that they are expecting a delayed shipment that is weeks late and they took on a new wave of pre-orders.

But yes, it does not make sense why they would cancel orders and still have it listed.

My Shadow SteelBook arrived today from Amazon, in a bubble mailer, crammed in my mailbox. Got a shipped notification last night. Seems fine at first glance but a disc is loose.

Mine arrived in a cardboard mailer. Miraculously intact! Was dreading this being smashed to bits considering the last steelbook I bought from them.

Amazon is making me approve the delay for the Shadow steel.

However, I keep clicking “approve delay” and “update order,” but keep getting an error message. Hopefully it will let me do it later.

Happened to me, i had to do on my desktop computer.



update on my order, out of nowhere it shipped yesterday. it's with USPS already for delivery today.

Weird, last night I kept trying to approve the delay on my phone, and then one random time, I didn’t have to anymore, and it updated to “will arrive Sunday.”

I’ll try to look on my Pc when I get home to see if the “approve delay” option is still there. I don’t want any issues. I can see Amazon canceling it since I didn’t officially approve the delay, even there there is no option to currently.

I received my Shadow Steelbook. Overall it seems to be in good shape (no dents or anything), but it won't stay closed.

Does anyone know if there is a simple fix for that? I really don't want to bother exchanging it and potentially ending up with one that does arrived dented or something.

Shadow SB arrived today, and of course, a loose disc!

I've had a string of back luck the last few days with steelbooks (one of the Eastwood ones, Tombstone 3 copies, Sonic SB 3 copies, and now Shadow SB). Sheesh!
