Same with From Beyond. VS served up a rich, potent, almost surreal palette on their stellar 4k that totally works for the film, and 88 followed suit with more of the same on their uhd. Of course it’s not nearly overblown in the way Beastmaster is, but nonetheless works very well with the material.

With VS, orgasmically-intense wcg > director intent just about every time. They’re the proverbial kid in the uhd candy store.

I noticed this as well with this VS release.... seems like their early releases had an overdone color scheme on many titles... however this movie is so garish with its over the top Lovecraftian look... it's not really an issue.
