Wonder if Supes holding a screwdriver means he helped build it? I think there were rumors or speculation that the next movie would have Brainiac; maybe Superman and Lex have to team up to stop him?

Be great if the Lex suit ends up being made to help Superman against an even bigger threat. Seeing him be forced to team up with Superman/Supergirl/Krypto could lead to some hilarious moments.

Reminds me of the late 80s/90s Supergirl (who wasn’t actually Supergirl) but did have a relationship with Lex (in his cloned body).

I think we can safely say it won’t happen in the DCU.

Oh, please. It's definitely gonna end with Nic Hoult and David Corenswet making out in Lex's lab. Think about it: those long nights working on the power armor, Lex admiring Clark's strength, teasing him about how he knows every inch of his body from creating Ultraman...
