Can anybody share their experience with Warner Bros orders? Good packaging? Unbent or undamaged goods? Fast shipping from the release date?

There is no way I am spending 90 bucks on that. I bought the HDDVD set for 19.99 when it first came out. I am too spoiled to spend much more then that.

Which truckbed did that deal fall off of? Considering it's STILL well above that for the set on Amazon.com.

This was during that Circuit Hiccup online that occurred when it was first released. They mispriced it to 19.99 for a few hours before someone realized and fixed their error. That was one of the only HDDVDs I actuall purchased from a real store (I never wanted to help their sales numbers)

Actually, the book that comes with it is just a glorified, hardcover edition of the paperback one that came with the standard dvd ultimate edition--the one with the Neo statue. I got mine off the shelf and compared it with the picture you mentioned. The pages shown are identical. Extremely upsetting. I was hoping for some original stuff but it seems like WB is just giving us leftovers.

Care to share what is in the book that came with the Neo statue set?

I only had the regular DVD box, so it only came with the 20 or so page booklet that had the chapters, features and whatnot.

Actually, that's exactly what my book was--just a glorified set of liner notes. It listed what was on each of the discs and had some production photos. Oh, and an introduction from the Wachowski brothers. That's about it.

Just announced, this set will include all three movies, in Blu-ray with lossless high definition 5.1 audio (Dolby TrueHD). You’d also better pencil in a weekend where you can close yourself off from the world; each of the flicks has hours of extras. That includes “The Animatrix,” a 9-part anime film, which is set in the fictional world inside “The Matrix.” The announcement says that three additional discs will feature 35 hours of other features, as well as a digital copy of “The Matrix,” which can be used on Windows Media or iPod portables.

I'll be getting this set for sure. I wasn't a fan of the sequels when I first saw them (in fact I hated them), but they grew on me over time. I can't wait.
