That's right. The game doesn't come in a regular plastic PS3 case inside the LE box does it?

They only show the bonus disk here:

Boo!

Got mine from play.com! Loved the LE they were doing.

It's an awesome game, very impressed with it so far. The Assassins Creed engine holds up nicely.

Overall, the game is good. I picked up my LE copy from GameStop Thursday afternoon & I finished the game completely last night. The graphics are top-notch & the controls are pretty good even though they can be quirky at times! The camera angles sometimes get in the way of themselves & the dialouge is less than desireable. I think I should've personally rented this game instead of forking over my $65. Oh well, off to GameStop now to trade my copy in for store credit which I will gladly put on my reserved copy of Killzone 2!

I trade most of my games in but i'll be keeping this game. dont think i will ever get bored of it. not to impressed with the combat but theres something very satisfying about running and swinging through that gorgeous scenery i could collect them little specks of light all day

I've been playing Prince of Persia the last couple days and I really like it. Definitely one of the best PS3 games to buy this year. The movement is so fluid, combat is a bit simplistic and random but serviceable, but the art style and gameplay more than make up for it.

Working my way through some of the trophies while playing the game. Most aren't too bad, but the 12 hour time limit, and 100 or fewer rescues trophies look sort of scary. I forsee both as being quite challenging.

EDIT: Oh, and 1001 Light Seeds (read: find every single Light Seed in the game) is a conundrum, too. I just cleared 900 seeds, and have anywhere from 1-10 seeds left to find in each zone... only I'm running out of places to look. The level designers are EVIL! :P

I played this game for a good 6 hours yesterday and so far I'm pretty disappointed as I was expecting it to feel like PoP Sands of Time. This has a completely different feel to it and its like Zelda Wind Waker meets Price of Persia.

It feels like they focused completely on the 'art work' aspect of the game and not actual gameplay. This doesn't mean that I don't enjoy playing the game, but it definately did not live up to my expectations compared to the other Prince of Persias. I definately enjoyed playing the previous ones more than this one.

I'm very glad that I rented it and not bought it.

Don't throw in the towel on it so soon. While the difficulty curve is much gentler in the new PoP compared to Sands of Time/Warrior Within/Two Thrones regarding the platforming, it's not because the platforming tricks themselves are weaker. It's because the timing window for activating each movement ability is much, much more forgiving.

The curve IS there, though - the last couple of areas have some fairly tricky reaction platforming.

I thought the inability to die was rather cheap until I realized that the only thing it took away was the negative reinforcement of staring at loading screens every time you died; after I came to that happy conclusion, it stopped bothering me. And heaven help you if you want that 100 or fewer rescues trophy. :P

Bought this game, and im really enjoying it.

Id have to say, to any of you who's gf/wife likes to play games occasionally, you should check this game out. My girlfriend absolutely loves this game. The story, graphics and (easy)difficulty are all great for her. Also Id say the (total) lack of upgrades/customization helps keep things simple.

Im enjoying it, love the platforming, its relaxing. Great game.

Right, I'm not saying that this is a bad game whatsoever, just its very different than all the other Prince of Persia and do not recommend Blind Buying it.

I had the exact same thoughts as you did with the whole not dying senario. It definately made the game a lot more fluid and doesn't nearly give you as much downtime as other games when you die.

Its really just my anticipation for this game took a turn for the worse. I do however enjoy playing this game, but will be returning it once I'm done.

When I heard you couldn't die I expected it to be like Soul Reaver, but it's extremely lame the way Elika constantly saves you with the same stupid cut scene.

The controls are awful. You just press a button and wait. Then press another button and wait. Fights scenes are made up of long stupid slow mo action sequences that you have to sit through just from pressing a button or two.

The level design is horrendous, it's vast but not detailed enough.

Voice overs may be the worst I've ever heard in my life, it's embarrassing to listen to.

AND it's glitchy, in the first level the ground completely disappeared and just from walking I would fall into nothingness and Elika would save me. I thought it was intentional until I remembered the gametrailers.com review:
"If you do anything the game doesn't expect, it will cause crashes on the PS3"

This is an interactive movie, not a game. I can't recommend it to anyone. I hope that people enjoy it, but if you are on the fence about buying it RENT IT first.
After this, I had to play Ninja Gaiden 2 to remind myself what a real video game is.
YOU FAIL SMART ***!

Turn off the tutorials in the menu. As for you complaining about glitches, you would be downright lying. There are a few slow downs once in a blu moon, and that's about it.

The voice acting is also phenomenal and and by the end of the game you get really attached to the characters. Stop complaining about the Prince's voice. I'm Persian, so I'm interested, but do you think he should have some stereotypical Arabian voice, or an Indian accent, because you would be completely wrong. His voice suits him fine.

Weird, I ordered PlayTV from Play.com on Thursday and it came this morning. Must be busy down at the sorting office in Surrey!
