Great question. I'm not too sure. I have a UK release in my collection but that's only because I saw it in someone else's which allowed me to add it. I don't know how to search for foreign releases

HAHAHAHA seriously? You want boxsets to be broken down into multiple movies? Why? To make it show that you own more blu-rays? Well I own Close Encounters, there are three cuts of that movie, so shouldn't it count as three movies? I want to have more blu-rays than other people because I am overcompensating for other deficiences.

People get over it! This is a new feature that just now was implemented. Give them tim to update the library.

If you are that insecure about your collection - then keep using other services. It's free - stop complaining.

well the boxsets he listed is just a box with actually THREE different movies in it. SO why shouldn't it be listed as single movies? and i think it should and i only have 30 movies and i could care less how high my collection number is

heh heh... That was funny.

I noticed the same thing when I added the Harry Potter box-set... who cares? As long as I can track/share the movies I own without a spredsheet.

Couldn't agree more. Trilogy=3 movies. They are sold together as a set so they show up as a set on the site. Man that is one smart cardboard robot, gotta get me one of those. I have 91 as a count but 98 movies. Oh wait, Close Encounters has 3 versions and Blade Runner has 5. I have one hundred and....

Use it to track and buy/sell/trade. It's not a contest.

I think it's fair to count The Mission Impossible Trilogy and The Spider Man Trilogy as a single. They are housed in a special box meant to hold just that trilogy. If you seperate them, it becomes unclear as to whether you had the individuals or if you got the box.

If it's all about the size of your e-peen, then get the hell over it.

When someone buys a boxset at the store, do they ring it up as three different movies?

Are "Rented" and "Wishlist" movies counted in the total next to someone's name? It should only count owned or owned/ordered. As for the box sets--I'm fine with counting them as one--if people want to change their counts they can add the individual titles instead of the box sets or bundles.

Seeing my ridiculously high count, my question has been answered--Wishlist and Rented shouldn't be counted--and there should be a way to filter these when viewing a collection.

Everyone wants to count different stuff :/ but I've removed "Rented", "Wishlist" and "Loaned".

Would the following input fields be of interest for the collection feature:

1) A price/amount paid field?
2) Date of purchase?
3) Last seen date?

I think #1 would spur a bit of competition between people - but 2,3, and maybe some sort of Star-based rating system (right now I'm using the comments box) would be great!

nope but it is priced as more than one movie . i was just stating since there are multiple movies in boxsets they could count as each movie. but truthfully i don't even own any boxed sets so i don't really care. i was just stating what i felt made sense.

I'll play the devil's advocate, If I didn't own any blu-rays and then went out and bought the Blu-Cube 20-Pack, I guess it would only show as 1. Same for the 120pack. I'm one for making a trilogy worth 3, but not for Bladerunner worth 5, those are the same movie.
