Wow! I didn't know it was there. Surprising that it took the government only 30 some years to do something.

It's a shame that it took people dying for authorities to realize removing it is the right thing to do. Really good film btw.

So this had a new release last year that included digital. My question is the latest release had an encode of MPEG-4 AVC. The previous releases had VC-1. Which one would be better? The latest release doesn't have any audio details here on the site. I do not know if that changed. $7 price difference between the 2. I was finally going to add the physical release to the collection and started noticing the different releases. If anyone has picked up the latest edition could you verfiy the audio? Thank you!

I respect Chris for what he done, it was out of his free will and lived as he wished than how everyone lives in a society.

But, he was unprepared as a whole rather than only for AK, in my opinion. Watching this gave me the impression he may have had schizophrenia and was hyperactive while being incredibly intellectual and autonomous.

If he'd live thru, he'd be a living legend for that lifestyle he chose.

I just received the 2021 release from Amazon...confirmed via the copyright date on the back and the included Digital Copy. I don't know where the site got that it had been re-encoded but video on the 2021 is VC-1 @ 30.31 Mbps. Main audio track is TrueHD 48/24 @ 3140 kbps.

It's not, it's just an MOD re-release, which may or may not be BD-R (and dropping the recent digital copy).
