Well we are going to see a lot of Irish characters this year, and according to the back history Sutter created for SAMCRO, one of the Original 9 is named McGee, and he is currently the head of the Dublin charter, so I would assume we will be getting to meet another of the original 9 and all their sweetbutts, croweaters, and old ladies. But more than anything I cannot wait to find out who gets cast as McGee.

I am a huge Titus Welliver fan, so I pray Kurt can land him for a big arc on season 3 with way more of him than we got in Season 2.

Quote:
Question: I just watched seasons 1 and 2 of Sons of Anarchy in two days! Can I get some scoop on season 3? Can’t believe I didn’t watch this show earlier!
Ausiello:
A little birdie with loose lips tells me that the show is currently talking to Titus Welliver about reprising his role as Irish gunrunner Jimmy O for a handful of episodes.
Also Sutter made another twitter update today:

Quote:
taping the roundtable discussion for the S2 dvd today. received over 2000 questions from fans! you guys are the stars of this extra. thanks!

I am loving the casting news for Season 3!!

Quote:
FX announced today that the Emmy-winning Hal Holbrook (Into the Wild) will have a guest starring role in the third season of Sons of Anarchy, which bows in September. Holbrook will appear in a four-episode arc, beginning with the premiere episode. He’ll play Nate Madock, the father of Gemma Morrow Teller (Katey Sagal), in the drama about an outlaw motorcycle club.

Production on the next 13 episodes of Sons of Anarchy begins tomorrow. The second season of the drama that also stars Ron Perlman ranked as the highest-rated single season of an original series in FX history: It averaged 4.48 million viewers and 3.16 million adults between the ages of 18 and 49.

I'm glad he's not letting Dixie's recent death stop him from turning in what is sure to be a brilliant performance.

I really hope Sutter is able to start doing those Sunday night Video blog updates. In his last two twitter updates he discusses Hal, and the video. So I'm hoping we get something awesome tonight!!

Season 2 will be released in the exact same time frame as Season 1, late August.

Oh damn Gamma, you are in for a great ride. Some people thought the show didn't really pick up until episode 3 or 4, but I was hooked from jump street. Though just know that Season 2 somehow manages to blow season 1 completely out of the water. At this point I've probably seen Seasons 1 and 2 a minimum of 15 times completely though and I still love every minute.

Haha wow. As soon as I finish my run of SGA, I'm putting in SoA.

I've seen Arrested Development at least six times.

I've seen the first season at least thirty times for it though.

I've never watched any show as much as SoA it's just incredibly addictive to me. It turned me into a junkie but instead of fiending for the rock, I fiend for the open road from my living room haha.

Speaking of Arrested Development I laugh everytime I see that new Michael Cera trailer for Scott Pilgrim cause he has to do battle with Bland.....oh I mean Anne.

I can't wait for Scott Pilgrim. Edgar Wright won't let me down.

But yeah, I wanted to watch this show since I saw the previews in the theater. It always looked bad ass.

The only shows I've watched a buncha times through is Carnivale, which I've seen probably three or four times, and The 4400 which I've seen three times.

Lost = twice (so far)
Sports Night = twice
Alias = on my second run through
John Doe = twice
Touching Evil (US) = Twice

Where you a fan at all of The Shield? It's that same kind of grit and extreme violence mixed with incredible story. It's been called Hamlet on Harleys, and Sutter has used the Hamlet and MacBeth formulas quite a bit.

I've never seen The Shield or The Wire. Always wanted to see them both, never had a chance. They are my choices for summer run-throughs.

Most people here prefer "The Wire" some go as far as to call it the greatest show of all-time, but I will never be one of those people. Yes I liked it, and it was pretty good, but I always preferred The Shield much more. Very gritty and crazy and dialogue and stories that kept you on the edge of your seat. It was on insane hell of a ride we where taken on for 7 seasons, and I will never forget the Shield.
