My mind drifts too much with dubbed track because I can't help but notice how the charatcters I see on screen and the voices I hear do not match. Even dubbed animated movies are too distracting, that is why I watch titles like Ghost in The Shell (original Japanese anime) in its original track.
The other issue with dubbed tracks is that they are recorded in sound studios, but if certain scenes take place outdoor (a beach, a desert, a forest, etc.) you can clearly tell that the voices come from a closed room because of acoustics

Well i find dubbing such as ADR annoying on normal movies anyway but there's not a lot that can be done about it as all movies exhibit it.

Loved it. I could do 3D movies like this all day long. Always spacious, always adding to the environment, and never distracting. The movie was the perfect 'check your brain' type in the sense that after checking it in, it still manages to tickle it and keep it interested all the way through . I'm so annoyed by reboots, but then something like this comes along and makes me happy about them all over...ce la vie.

Watched Percy Jackson Sea of Monters.

Great 3D with depth and popouts done well. Story was fun too.

I am sorry for jumping in on this but figured someone would know, I recently came across a single disc release of Pixar’s Up (3D) but I can’t find anything on it. I type in the UPC on Amazon and it doesn’t tell me much, I am just curious where it was released at..

I provided the link to the page on amazon, and I went through the different “Up” releases that show up but none match the cover or slipcover

Got Resident Evil: Damnation in the mail today from Amazon Japan.

I ordered this movie last week from Amazon Japan, and it didn't ship til friday, it was expensive but i wanted to check this movie out in 3D.

I be interested to hear how the 3D is on this film.

I thought the 3d looked good and of course way better then the 2d version. Ymmv because I use Paul's tweaks for my oppo and tv but I think you will still enjoy the 3d with it.

Thanks, that’s what I figured it was but wasn’t entirely sure. I looked all over but haven’t seen a 3D single disc release of it, just multi disc releases.
