It would be nice of course if there would be small links to the prequels, I'm just setting my expectation low on everything to avoid disappointments. I don't mind Coruscant, but it would be meaningful to see Mustafar, probably Luke went into hiding there, the place that is very significant to both Obi-Wan and his father.

I'm sure there will be some great nods to the past films. Hey, if not in VII, maybe in VIII or IX?

worst moments in film:
When characters reminisce. It's like that Chris Farley "interview actors" SNL skit, "remember when you blah, blah, blah? yeah? well that was Awesome!"

Or even when they reminisce about events that the audience never saw:
1. temple of doom: when the waiter is dying in Indiana Jones arms
2. avengers: Black Widow and Hawkeyes talking about Budapest
3. revenge of the Sith: Anakin and Obi Wan talking about their adventures in the elevator

Those scenes are just cringe-worthy and not necessary in order to establish a history together.

Because "JJ Abrams has openly said many things that indicated he hated the prequels." is an inflammatory statement with no little to no basis in fact.

So why excuse lying and misinformation?

What lie? From his statements I have formed an opinion that he hated the prequels. So an opinion is a lie now? I never claimed that Abrams openly said he hated the prequel. This is a forum where we post our opinions, I'm not a reporter in journalism publishing articles online. I don't ask for citation from my friends at the bar when he thinks his wife is cheating on him based on her statements. It's just a discussion.

He has indicated that several times. These films will have no connection whatsoever to the PT.

Inflammatory? Seriously?

'JJ hated the prequels' aren't exactly fighting words.

Well, not usually, anyway,

Again: Where? When?

I have followed the production closely, watched all his interviews, and nothing of the sort can be implied.

Don't mistake your opinion for fact as so many prequel haters do.

I suggest you hurry before it gets taken down as there are sites where it already has...

[Show spoiler] The short 18 second clip, below, appears to show storm troopers patrolling a gangway near some equipment before an explosion tears through part of the set.

Darth Vader is in Episode III, his burned armor is in Episode VII. Boom, prequel nod, if anyone is so inclined to call it that.

You didn't miss much. It was about 1 minute of three guys standing around in stormtrooper uniforms from about 50 feet up then they say "action" and there's and explosion and one gets blown onto a stunt mat then they say "cut"

He also indicated he wanted to put Jar Jar Binks bones in the film somewhere which is also a direct link to the PT, The Falcon was in the PT, so was Luke and Leia, and Vaders Mask. pretty sure there will be minor nods and connections which bring all 7 films together.

Oh, I saw it...sent it to all my friends, too. Surprised it stayed up as long as it did. Whoever uploaded it is a damn fool. All LucasFilm has to do is check the call sheet for that stage on the day that was shot, and who was assigned where. They'll track that down, the dude will never work again on a major shoot, might even get sued. And for what? Some attention? Anonymous fame is still fame for some idiots.
