I personally didnt find myself out of pocket, but the bastards got the item and a refund, whilst my rep was hurt by being suspended whilst under investigation.

Really sorry to hear that happened. I'm actually shocked that when you send something recorded, to a confirmed address, the PoS buyers are still able to get away with this. I mean seriously, WTF!!!!

How can that be possible?!

I guess it's like when someone reports an item lost to say Amazon and they either refund them or send a replacement. Then the original item shows up a few weeks later.

The Post Office were a waste of space too. I sent a scan of the recipt to the buyer and they said they can't accept it because it's a copy.

I really hate how buyers can get away with scams like this. I guess most just figure what the hell, it's a win win for them really whatever happens.

what the hell else did they think they were going to get? The original sent in the post so they can say that got lost too?!!

Frigging piece of excrements. Should rot in hell for crap like that. Guess you only are able to claim through the post office insurance then i guess. But god if this doens't make me x1,000,000

you can claim through royal mail for the loss. I had to do that when a buyer claimed the item didn't arrive. He filed a complaint against me just a week after I posted it..

Wierd!

This is also an Ebay listing, didn't think you could increase the price once the item(s) up.

Oh well. £25 is what I've paid and I don't think I'd pay over that for any BR.

In HMV Birmingham Bull Ring I saw the Priest steelbook, which I nearly bought in HMV Bristol for £12. I can't say I'm too bothered about the film, but it was £3, new and sealed and was the only copy left

For that price I just had to get it. Parts of the cellophane were ripped but there were no scratches on the case, just more shelf wear. I saved myself £9 and got another steelbook for my collection

For anyone near Breahead Shopping Centre, Glasgow.

Just got Devils Double steelbook for £6.

There was at least 20 there.

Was a few copies of Rampant, Priest & The Green Hornet too. Not interest in any of those.

Oh nice...live quite close (about 20 minutes on the train) so might have to pop in at some point - only problem is when I have time, the blasted things might have all sold out. We'll have to see.

I think every HMV has these at the moment, I've been in three this week and they all had supplies.

You know as far as ebay is concerned that means nothing. You could send nothing in the parcel or yuou may not even post it. I know what you are trying to do but trust me ive had this arguement with Ebay and it means nothing. The only thing they take as proof is registered delivery or some form of recorded post, such as express post or the like to prove you actually sent the item. Even then you have no proof of what you sent so you need some cover in the postage in case they need to claim. Its crap really. Agree with others that Ebay only realy seems to care about buyers. Though without the sellers there are no buyers....go figure.
