It was only $8 less for around 30 mins.

Ah, I see. Well, that makes me feel a little better then.

I was so focused on waiting for Best Buy's steelbook to go up for in-store pickup that I didn't even notice the Bat Cowl.

$35.99 is still a good price though, IMO.

You win some, you lose some. I don't even recall how high I paid for my batpad on release day and now it's only $25. On top of that, it's not even rare.

The moment it was up, its $27.99, I know cuz I checked 5 mins before and it was still not up for pre-order.

Anyway it should go down in price during release week eh?

Definitely going for the BB steelbook so I can steel all three films. Still, when that Ultimate Trilogy comes out next year, if Batman Begins gets a new transfer, we may be looking at a double dip.

Where is it for $25? Also, do you think same thing will happen with the Cowl? 30,000 is a lot. You think it will actually sold out?

I was in Suncoast the other day and they had a display/sign that the Dark Knight Rises was coming out on Friday, Dec 7th. But, bluray.com confirmed it for Dec 4th. I wonder which one is correct?

Has anybody posted any information on what the "ULTIMATE TRILOGY" that'll be released next year is expected to look like and what it will have that separates it from these other trilogy box sets?

No they haven't. You know how marketing works, first push this one, and as soon everybody has it, Ultimate time.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as Blu-ray releases go (in America), there are...

The standard release with just the BD/DVD/UV copy.
The trilogy set with each of the three Nolan films, the first two just repackages of what was already released.
A Best Buy Steelbook.
Two Target Digibooks.

And a second trilogy on the way in 2013?

All content on TDKR prior to 2013 will have the same content, yes?

Yes, that's about it. And there is a Cowl version as well.

And Walmart will release an Exclusive edtion as well. DVD only for now, but maybe Blu-ray as well. Love that cover.

USA The Dark Knight Rises for sale today?

I can't believe I'm seeing TDKR blu ray combos & limited edition sets for sale on Ebay...ready for delivery by 10th or 11th of Oct.2012. What did they do, fall off a truck? They don't look like bootlegs.

There may not be 2 Target digibooks, but just 1.
