At some point in Twilight Princess, I stopped having fun and just went through the motions to complete it.

BOTW does have 4 dungeons (5 with the DLC) in the form of Divine Beasts. Combined with the 120+ Shrines, I think it has a good amount of stuff to keep you entertained. I dont want traditional dungeons back, I like the short puzzles we have now.

If they do bring dungeons back, make them short like with Dragon Quest XI.

Ive only done one divine beast so far (Zora one) but I really liked it. If they put more dungeons like that in addition to the shrines for the sequel Ill be happy.

Finally started the Champion's Ballad DLC.... It's been almost two years since I've touched the game, so I'm having some trouble getting used to the controls again. I keep trying to double jump like in Smash, lol.

I loved BotW but I don't want to see another Zelda game like it for a long time. Bring back a more traditional Zelda with legit dungeons and non-breakable items and I'll be happy.

The breakable weapons were kind of frustrating, especially in middle of battles and yeah, unless there's a sequel of BotW then this shouldn't be made for all future Zelda games.

In Mario Kart's case, Mario Kart 8 seems to have become the standard from now on as Mario Kart on 3DS, Wii U, Switch and Android/iPhone are all pretty identical. Not that it's a bad thing but I'd love if they made a new Double Dash. I'm anxious for Mario Kart: Tour multiplayer mode to go live but I seriously hope it won't be an exclusive mode for paid members only.

Well Breath of the Wild is getting a sequel so any new traditional Zelda game likely wont come until after unless they re-release Windwaker HD & Twilight Princess HD on the Switch.

That would be an excellent idea. WWHD and TPHD were some of the best games I played on the Wii U and they looked great.

Now that ive done every optional thing I wanted to do (completed all 4 divine beasts, got the master sword, hylian shield & white stallion horse, bought a house, helped build a town, recovered all memories) Also completed 57 shrines, found 36 seeds. Only thing left is to fight Gannon & finish the game. Ill probably end up at around 60 or so hrs doing the things I wanted & skipping ones I didn't. Definitely the longest time ive put into a single Zelda game at one time (not counting replays of course).

I started out not liking it a bit but as I got better at it, learned how to play it more I liked it. However its not a game ill want to play over again from the beginning since ive seen everything I wanted to, so once im done ill trade it towards Luigi's Mansion 3.

Just completed Champion's Ballad last night. I can see why people were disappointed in the DLC overall... it definitely would have been nice to have more substantial story content. But between this and the Trials of the Sword, I thought it was pretty fun content that gets you some nice in-game bonuses. The problem with the motorbike is by the time you get it, you're pretty much done exploring the world.

Now, I'm debating whether I should start Master Mode or do a second run through of FE:Three Houses.

This seems to be the rumor. Likely both getting a remaster before the BOTW 2.

Hoping they do the same and give us the Metroid Trilogy before 4. Crazy to think BOTW 2 will probably release before the next Metroid.

Some comparison screens with Ray Tracing disabled/enabled on the Breath of the Wild Reshade Mod on CEMU. Main difference is that with RT enabled, all objects are affected by light and cast shadows or reflect light, even blades of grass:

Kinda regret picking Xenoblade over this.

I love Xenoblade 2 and highly enjoyed Xenoblade 1 in May, but they definitely aren’t for everybody.

That’s 200-300 hours of gaming between those three games

Actually just realized I never played Xenoblade 1 & 2. I got mixed up. I played X on Wii U & did like the few months I spent with that game.

I checked, no Switch Port yet. Also Xenoblade 2 seems very hard to acquire physical.

Both Zelda & X2 are around 13GB. I may end up downloading Xenoblade 2. I have 5 games I want for Switch, X2 included. Physical/Digital aint an issue.

These games are $90 a pop after tax where I live.

Sooooooo

With the 4 games for PS5 I plan on buying this year, Ill have to wait till next year for at least X2.

I know Ill want Zelda Breath of the Wild & may sacrifice a PS5 game to get it sooner.
