This exactly, except with some Monstervision thrown in too.

JBene, I sub to Terror Vision. Just to be crystal clear to and make sure I have read it correctly, going forward, all Culture Shock titles can be purchased with slips from https://www.terror-vision.com/ or your own CS website?

I'm not sure about all titles moving forward but the newest CS release is also available on the TV wholesale page as a sub.

If you’re a member of any TV club, you can get all of this Graveface distributed stuff at wholesale price via the club wholesale portal.

Cheers both. I used the wholesale portal earlier to grab Night of the Bastard.

I plan to keep on subbing to Terror Vision for the foreseeable future, so now I know all Culture Shock Releasing titles will be on the wholesale portal/Terror Vision site, that makes it just as easy as when it was on the OCN site.

Hoping the Late Night Classics line is a continuous, regular release. Hot babes & cold beer is my fortay

I must say, that Night of the Dribbler VHS from Mystic Vault Media is really tempting. I may just buy it for the heck of it from the wholesale portal! Here's hoping TV or CS look into releasing that one on Blu-ray or even possibly Mystic Vault dipping their toes into releasing Blu-rays!

I just came here to say I’m very excited about all of these: “THE REFRIGERATOR, LONE WOLF, and ASSAULT OF THE PARTY NERDS 1 and 2”.

Bravo! :-)

JBene, what elements will you be using for Lone Wolf? Do film elements exist?

From their FB page in response to someone:

upscaled 1080 from tape masters. Unfortunately the film is long gone.

According to IMDB Lionsgate had the rights to the movie. I wonder if the film negative was destroyed in the same fire that took out Rocktober Blood.

It took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out what LNC stood for. The LNC line is what I'm personally most excited for from y'all. I'm also really excited to see what the adult content looks like.

Your shipping prices to Canada are absurd. $21 to ship one movie to Canada, I add a second and it's $31? Pretty bad. I'm out.

I like vintage [teen sex] comedies but those from the 80's are by far my favorites

I assume the LNC set will contain new titles and not a collection of existing ones. I like individual slips but, for space saving purposes, I could go for box sets but it would be cool if we get a heads up if future sets will be re-packagings of older titles.

Default Recent Culture Shock title announcements

Out of the films announced by Culture Shock during the past few days, the one which is standing out for me, and which I'm warming to the idea of likely getting a copy of (which is a bit ironic, considering the film title), is The Refrigerator (interested in these sort of titles from Culture Shock).

The Refrigerator is decent, but it just has a few instances of losing it's footing along the way where it starts to overstay it's welcome. If they cut it down by 10 minutes it definitely would be a much leaner offering.

Another one that should be on the radar of finding a new audience is Battle Heater from 1989. That has the same campy attitude of a guy battling a household appliance that eats people, but it's even more intentional over fridge, plus Battle Heater is just ridiculous from start to finish.

I posted this verbatim on the TV board, but TV or CultureShock may as well get the rights to Unhinged (1983) and Deadly Prey (1987) and do meticulous AI-Upscales of those movies. The elements for those seem to be lost so may as well do a nice SD-AI-Upscale release and get some good commentaries and special features, especially on Deadly Prey, we need a commentary with Ted Prior, Fritz Matthews, cinematographer Stephen Blake and David Campbell (Colonel Hogan).

I’ve been seeing more and more fan made AI-Upscales and the results are really impressive, they essentially pass for new HD masters.
