better ask a German member, cause this is German exclusive and not available in Austria, I have to import it myself

EDIT: nevermind, I'm confused. Still looks like the steelbook only comes with the regular version of the game on futureshop.ca, not the kombat or tournament editions. However, I'm thinking if in-store the steelbooks are just given out separately to anyone who buys the game, it would be possible to get one no matter which version of the game you are buying.

damn it i want a MK steelbook sealed and doesnt look like it will happen as UK/France are not getting it and Futureshop had it online but now gone

Added some titles to opening post. So we have now three different Crysis 2 SteelBooks (Nano, MediaMarkt exclusive and Micromania exclusive)...

Here is nice pictorial of Micromania version. G1 size with horizontal art.

About Mortal Kombat, does anyone know about Fire Edition? Is it cancelled or still coming?

I would disagree. For me, the steelbook is pretty nice (original embossed/debossed pattern), the artbook is hardcover and high-quality (unlike the small little things you find in most "limited editions"), and the statue is well-crafted and provides a light show. The only thing that's questionable is the backpack, but you can sell that on eBay for an inflated price, which makes everything else more worth it.

The NL version seems to be the "Fire Edition". Where is this edition from?

You can buy Mortal Kombat Kollectors Edition Steelbook from http://www.freerecordshop.nl - they ship internationally.

Has the MK Kollector's Edition been cancelled for UK gamers?

It's never been on Amazon UK, and doesn't turn up in the search bar on Game UK.

It still shows on Game UK if you search for it through Google, but now there is no pre-order link.

billz im not sure of that but i had 2 preordered from them 1 xbox 360 and one ps3 and still are preordered. not sure what actually happened with it.

This post states that the Fifa 11 Steelbook was also released in G1 size for Xbox 360, but I can't find any evidence to support this. Maybe someone else will have better luck.
