That was hilarious! It looks like something Paul Verhoeven would have used if he directed it.

I went back and watched T3 after seeing T4 and it was much better than I remembered.

I thought everyone had seen that clip before
i laughed forever the first time i saw it on the dvd.

Also, I finished From the Ashes finally on Sunday

i thought the book was GREAT, I absolutely loved it. Maybe even more than the movie
which is saying a lot since i loved the movie.
Once i had time to finally sit down and read i didn't put it down for 5 hours.

and one more thing, is DVDave back yet?

He's off suspension but he's not posted. Could be a condition of reinstating him?

I haven't had time to really get going. I'm to the point where They Marcus, Reese and Star just listened to Connor on the radio.

There's interesting insight such as Marcus wondering why he wasn't out of breath after ducking the T600 (thought it must be adrenaline). I'll post some tidbits. It's pretty cool.

i was wondering if there would be stuff like that about him in the book.

Hopefully they continued that until he figures it out

There's also stuff about him rubbing a pain in the back of his head as he remembers things from before.

i wonder if the book will go more in depth than the movie in areas of the story, like the deleted scenes maybe

Yeah, it already has. Some of it is a bit here and there of course, but there's already a little more development of the initial mistrust Reese has of Marcus and how it slowly wears away.

Yeah, he was pretty cool. There's no mention in the book thus far. It's two different authors. This book doesn't flow as nicely as the prequel IMO. Still good though.

now we can look forward to the blu-ray. I'm excited for the news we've gotten, but I sure would like some new news about it:

Quote:
Just a few hours ago I sat down with director McG for an exclusive video interview about making “Terminator Salvation”. In the coming days I’ll post our entire conversation, but I wanted to post one of the highlights right now.

That’s because he told me the upcoming “Terminator Salvation” DVD/Blu-ray is going to come with between 30 to 40 minutes of deleted scenes!

Since I have heard many filmmakers tell me crazy numbers like this and then it ends up not being true, I followed up with him about that number. He insisted that we’re going to get at least 30 minutes.

Since I can’t talk about the film due to my embargo, let me just say watching 30 more minutes of Christian Bale fighting Terminators sounds great to me.

Anyway, posted below is about a minute and a half of my interview with McG. If you want to go in spoiler free, I STRONGLY suggest not watching this clip. McG speaks freely about the alternate ending on the DVD and what else to expect. I don’t want to ruin the movie for anyone.

McG talks deleted scenes
· I ask how many minutes of deleted scenes are on the DVD/Blu-ray – he says 30 to 40 minutes!!
· Talks about the deleted scenes – some of John Conner giving speeches, Moon Bloodgood topless, alternate ending
· Says he walks into the frame and shows the storyboards versus the actual frame
· I then ask if this is going to be one of those times where the filmmaker tells me one thing, but the actual DVD will only have a fraction of them. He insists there are 30 minutes of deleted scenes on the DVD

So we don't get an unrated or extended cut? Oh well.. as long as the deleted scenes are there I guess.

The film was #5 internationally this weekend with $5million

It is at $228.1million international and a domestic of 122.7 (as of Thursday) for a total of ~$350.8million.

So it looks like it will close with around $355-$360 million for its final box office.

Make it 400*, it's only less than a month old in most foreign countries. I hope they make a blu-ray with as much content and extra footage as Watchmen.

Not too bad for the World Wide Box Office. I think since it has still a month or so of theater play left in other countries world wide we could get to the 400 mark
