I've seen better. Too dark, too orange/red, too 2D, too much detail hiding behind the fake CGI effects...fires.

The film itself? Not in a hundred years, Dwayne is no Brucey, and neither one can jump like that with a skyscraper, and juggle. Only the Fast & the Furious, inside a car...nobody else.

Sitting through the whole thing was a chore. The 'love story' side of it was also so mushy I almost wanted to throw up. It felt like a sci-fi version of Twilight

Default Black Friday 3D Haul

This Black Friday was my best haul on 3D deals. Ten from Big Lots (see photo) and several from Best Buy (How to Train Your Dragon 1 & 2, Home, and Assassin's Creed).

It's sad to see how 3D has been treated but at least it was a better go at it than in the earlier days....

I finally watched Pirates of the Caribbean: Stanger Tides 3D last night. The movie was very bland. Bad acting by depp and cruz. Black beard was great though. The story was mediocre , it felt like a straight to video movie.

the 3D wasnt very good either.

Law, I actually did a purge recently and I got rid of that one. So my collection now goes 1,2,3, 5 in 3D and I plan on always watching it that way going forward. If you haven't watched the 5th yet, I say prioritize that one, it will definitely wash the bad taste out of your mouth.

I have to chime in and just say that I had the opposite experience.

I waited many years to watch Stranger Tides 3D and had fun watching it.

Movie was bright & colorful, the 3D was solid, and the cast seemed excited.

A few months later, I watched Salazar's Revenge and it was dark & boring.

Recent movie seems like another tired, run-on sequel with little spark of energy.

But I'm keeping all of them, I just feel like 4th is underrate and 5th is overrated.

Off the top of my head, I would rate them in this order: 1, 2, 4, 3, 5.

Hi Paul,

It was the only 3d version on eBay and even Amazon only had the 2d copy. Was lucky just surfing by newest posted 3Ds on EBay and saw it brand new.
