I preordered these with 2 Blu-rays that did ship last year so I'm thinking since it was one single order that contains shipped items it's possible the preorders may have been overlooked. If Dave uses a shipping system that really does keep track of unshipped then I have nothing to worry about. Something tells me that he ships "on the fly" though . I've received some items from them with handwritten labels.

Has anyone else who preordered Scream 4K last August had any shipping notifications?

hey daddyo, if it makes you feel more at ease, I ordered just the 2 4k titles back in August right after they went up for preorder and havent received a shipping notice yet.

Sold my Code Red Blu Ray of Scream right away after watching but being a masochist I ordered the 4k right away, hoping for more 4k releases from the Code Red back catalog , praying these sell well enough for them to keep releasing 4ks.

bonus if they get whoever does Blue Undergrounds 4ks to do theirs as well.

Messiah of Evil would sell huge, Redeemer would be a dream release.

That’s good to hear. I ordered this maybe almost 6 months ago? I broke down and ordered Scream 1981 4k earlier this month also. I hope they kept organized in all this time and that I don’t have to chase my orders. Fingers crossed that the week brings good news to everyone that preordered these.

All pre-orders containing DEAD PIT 4K and SCREAM 4K are currently being processed and shipped as quickly as possible. We expect to have them all caught up within the week. We apologize for the lengthy delays on these titles as we encountered numerous technical issues. Although we can assure you they both came out top notch.

I can confirm that I just received notifications that the shipping labels were printed for both of my Dark Force 4k preorders. A very good start. Excited to check these puppies out!

So, I'm watching my 4K copy of Dead Pit and while it looks great, in general, some of the green lighting has been removed for a more natural look, especially at the 41 minute mark. As someone who likes stylized lighting, it bothered me a bit but it's certainly no deal breaker.

I haven't received my copy yet, but as far as the green lighting is concerned, wasn't the previous Code Red blu ray sourced from a different element? That might explain it. No idea why some of the green lighting would be removed.

Off topic, but how low did the temperatures get in your neck of the woods over the past two days? I hear Cali's been setting records lately. It was 43 overnight in Los Angeles - that's gotta be some kind of record for them. Many Californians don't have boilers or heating systems in their homes so it must be weird.
